I had the best holiday ever in Magaluf. The nightlife is brilliant loads of bars and clubs. The fiesta Jungla is great.. i wouldn't stay in any other hotel the Jungla is by far the best. Me and 2 friends have already booked in the Jungla for Aug 2006 :D

This is strictly a teenagers/young peoples paradise.  For us, a complete nightmare, for under 30's maybe you will like it if you don't mind noise, noise, doors banging, fighting, noise, noise, music blasting out, lots of it all different at the same time, noise, litter, quad bike hire shop right outside hotel, all revving the engines.  Oh.My.God.  Obviously I'm getting on a bit (40!) but this was total debauchery at it's best.  Gangs of guys walking about with a strange urge to pull one and others shorts down to show off their tackle.  Hello?  Oustide family restuarants!  No respect for anyone.  Totally selfish.  Magaluf is passable as a resort, thats all I can say about it.  Strictly a young persons resort.  Never again.  Oh, forgot to mention the sick stained pavements.

hello magalluf,
had a mint time would defo go bak. 

the hotel is brill although be ware of sticky mitts id defo get a safty deposit box its well worth it. i wouldnt recommend goin if youv got a fella the temptation is to much. especially the geordies they are gorgeous, speaking of geordies iv any body knows LEE from block 5 room 004 mi mate sam wants to get in touch o and zara wants her stallion again for round 2. sam searched the airport for him to get his number but had no luck unfortunatly. so if anybody is reading this from newcastle and you know who im talking about get in touch to this adress please. he was away with his mates jimmy, darren and another lad cant remember the name but hes a cook. they were all hot to get along with. lee broke his arm in bcm mi mate sam really likes him though. so if anyone knows who im talking about get in touch. well c ya later from all the sexy wigan lassesxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

OH.MY.GOD. What a total dive.  

Magaluf is truly Blackpool with the sun.  White plastic chair city, lots of groups of teenagers guys/girls, generally having a good time but totally oblivious to their surroundings & being inconsiderate towards others.   

The Fiesta Jungla is a jungle.  Basic. Nothing more. The guys in the next room to us were playing football in the apartments!!! Hello! C'mon guys.  Apartments had doors lying open, music blaring from every apartment.  I know I sound like an old **** but it really is so far removed from a Spanish holiday.  Sorry, no way would I go back.  Good things about Magaluf are its beach and the neighbouring reort of Palmanova.

This is the worst place to go on earth. It is a concrete hell, where chav's hit the beach the day and the tacky commercial clubs by night. The food is great if you like chips with every meal and you are faced with pizza hut and kfc at each turn. I would recommend you go there if you want to be in Southend but with better weather!

Well what can I say, I just had to write a review on here coz I had such a wicked holiday!!
This was my 5th year running to Magaluf, so I knew I would have another great holiday. I stayed in the Jungla last year in September for a week and loved it so much decided to go back for 2 weeks this August!!
The apartments are ideal, very spacious and have every thing you need to get you through your holiday. Ideal location as just round the corner is the Magaluf strip where you will find a selection of bars along with BCM (biggest club in europe).

Bamboo Club next to KFC is a must. All 5 years I have been going I Have gone in this bar every night. JO and Glyn the owners are the most decent people you will come across on your holidays. I always stay in touch to let them know I am coming- and they give the warmest welcome!! Love you guys!! Vicki still there and just as lovely. Sean the PR one word.....legend!!

all restaurants have a selection of foods and are very cheap too.
Definitely recommend Carwash, Bananas and Boomerang!! Great nights spent in them!!
I'm planning on going back next year and wouldn't even need to think of where to stay. There's only one choice......FIESTA JUNGLA!!
Big shout out to the Leeds Cru.. Mark, Lee, Howard, Ricky and Steve. Tops lads!!

Had an absolutely awesome holiday.DEFINITELY NOT A FAMILY LOCATION but perfect for a holiday with your mates. GORGEOUS BEACH a short walk from the hotel. eating out was quite cheap, plenty of take aways and restaurants.kfc and mcdonalds seconds away from the hotel.hotel food was ok. BARS OPEN TILL4, CLUBS OPEN TILL 6. all clubs were good but 'TOKIO JOE'S' wins hands down. great r'n'b and hip hop club. also 'BCM's' alright for the sheer amount of free stuff u get but all dance and trance music, good if u like that kind of thing.WATCH OUT FOR THE PUNTERS, they will say one offer outside but once your in,they'll change it to be more expensive. 

coyote ugly bar also gud fun,got free shots and champagne in exchange for dancing on the bar for 5 minutes...awesome. Hotel appartments GOOD SIZE,massive balconies and gorgeous view onto the pool. POOL IS INCREDIBLE, biggest in majorca.hotel staff very helpful and speak good english. thompson reps a good laugh.BEST NIGHT OUT: PIRATES , pirates the late night version is unmissable, plenty of singing, dancing, acrobatics and a hell of a lot of sangria! also recommend getting a CLUB PASS for the week, saves money and hassle each night. 

all in all a fantastic week away, were still talking about it now.

Where can we start???  We arrived at Fiesta Jungla at 2am in the morning, to the unfortunate news that we have to pay a deposit of 50 euros per person, which is potentially quite a lot of drinks!  But hey we got over it and in to our rooms.  We had 6 rooms all together, which were all on different floors in 2 different blocks, but it didn't matter as our room was surrounded by other young people anyway.  We had 3 different views, the first view which seemed the best was of BCM (apparently the biggest nightclub in Europe, but we think Oceana, Kingston is bigger!!) or a view of the pool, we thought ours was the worst, but it turned out 2 b the best coz it woz of the football pitch so we could watch all the fit guys (there were a lot!!) playin football!

The first morning was the Freestyle 'ice breaker' meeting, fortunately we were awake (coz we hadn't gone 2 sleep all night!!) but those who weren't got a banging at their door at 10am.  The reps were cool, especially Pete 'bothered' - the brummie, wot a legend!!  The meeting was boring, but told u the rules and where 2 go.  They try 2 sell u this package, but it really ain't worth it, unfortunately we were with a lot of stupid boys who wanted 2 buy it, but it would have really restricted what we wanted 2 do each night, so eventually every1 decided it wasn't worth it.
The only thing that was worth it was Pirates, which u can buy separately for 50 euros, a lot of money, but a good night out.  U get a bit of food but not til 1am so eat before, and the only free drink is sangria and wine, so if u don't like that get well pissed before, coz the other drinks are well expensive! We did it on our last night and it was a really good way 2 end the hols, every1 gets involved, but u have 2 b on Sir Francis Drakes team coz he is the best!

The hotel was actually really nice, everyone was young, there were a lot of welsh people who were a laugh, especially those next door 2 us who jumped over our balcony regularly (that is against the rules tho!!).  However, also a lot of Scousers who were very rowdy and loud, but the DJ by the pool said no scouse house music allowed!!  Rooms are fine in size, comfortable for 4 people.  Although they don't provide many (rusty) pans, or washing up liquid!!  The pizzeria there is good 4 food and the cooked breakfast was lovely!  Another good place 2 eat is Magaluf corner which is just round the corner, good meals for just over 5 euros.

As for Magaluf itself, wot a great place.  Obviously BCM is a must, with the best DJ being DJ Sammy, also Westwood and Judge Jools were there.  Popcorn party very silly,  and the foam party was a bit intense if u go right 2 the middle, we wud advise you stay round the edge!  You get a load of good freebies, like towels, caps, glowsticks, lilo, condoms!!  Other good clubs were Tokio Joe's, good r n b music and fun podiums to dance on.  Boomerangs OK, a bit dirty, but its where they have all the guest appearances eg Romeo and Chesney Hawkes.  Bora Bora is a square sort of half way up the strip on the right, a good place 2 start the evening, a few bars and clubs.  The devils bar was also good place 2 start the evening with cheap Sex on the Beach (obviously the drink!).  BCM square also a lot of fun, with its bucking bronco, but b aware of the cheeky camera man and DJ!  The reps were lovely, especially Huli, who was and Irish 1 for BCM.  All the people in Magaluf are really nice it isn't that rough, most people seem to b alright, although we heard one other girl we knew out there got her drink spiked, and the police seemed a bit crazy, but apart from that every1 was safe.

Everyone has to complete the 2 cheekiest things in magaluf: 1, The Slingshot, for those who aren't fainthearted, great buzz and u can c the whole of maga!.  2, Get a pedalo out to the little island, a lot of fun.   As for the beach very nice, didn't go there much, but apparently S*x on the beach is banned and there are a lot of perverts about anyway.

So that's our holiday, it was really great and we would definitely recommend the Fiesta Jungla to any young people who wanna go out there and have a laugh!

We went to fiesta Jungla June 2005 and we had a fab time, the hotel is quite big and the pool is massive. The biggest club bcm is a 2minute walk and other bars really close, main strip is a short walk but uphill and bar reps attacking u every step of the way-really annoying. In BCM u pay bout 18 euros to get in and all drinks are free, its major dance music on main floor but also good dose of cheese if you go downstairs!We went nearly every night.

We were a bit worried the hotel would be really crazy and noisy but it was ok, loud music plays from 8pm till bout 11.30pm to get u in mood for going out which can be bit annoying. Definately recommend pirates show and after party! Really wanted to be a pirate after this! And if there is a hypnotist show in hotel definately go its hilarious!
The beach and sea are amazing and lots to do like para gliding, banana boats, rubber rings and pedlo's! All really cheap too.

If you like naked women this holiday is for you! I saw far more than i wish to see again cos wet t shirt competitions every night in bcm downstairs! and naked dancers on podiums everywhere but its all in good fun and the men loved it!
It was the best holiday i've had and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good holiday and ellent nightlife! x

Oh my god!!!just got back from the most amazing holiday ever. i went to magalluf last year but the hotel we stayed in was a bit far out from the night life and it was more for families.so this year i wanted to go in a better hotel. i was recommended the fiesta jungla. so me and my cousin went there with a good feeling about this property as we had seen the previous reviews on this website.

first of all we got there at about 4pm and the swimming pool was massive and surounded by loads of young people and there was a dj playing all the latest songs as well as a few cheesey ones. the rooms are really clean and spacious and the balconies are really big.

the hotel it's self is literally around the corner from BCM which is the huge night club which throws foam parties and popcorn parties. it also features djs like dj sammy, ultrabeat and a few radio 1 dj's too.they give out lot's of freebies too. it really is the best club to go to but go there after 2am because thats when it get's busy.

the atmosphere of the hotel when everybody gets in at 6 in the morning is amazing. everybody is drunk and jumping in the pool, shouting and screaming and it is just getting light so it's really weird going to bed when it's daylight.
nobody really get's up until the afternoon and if you want a really big breakfast there is a cafe next door to the hotel called the hungry toad which is good value for money and they play films on the tv screens which is cool.
The pool is the biggest pool i've ever seen and it only gets busy at 3pm coz that's the time the dj comes on.

the hotel is also very popular with the male clientelle as there were hardly any girls so if you are a single girl looking to pull you can do it easily around the pool area during the day let alone at night in the clubs.

The only complaint that i would have to make is that the hotel has no air conditioning so it get's really hot at night when getting ready.

All in all the fiesta jungla is an amazing hotel if your young and lively looking to have hardly any sleep and a good time.i'd definately go back again!

My friend and i decided to go away on holiday but was unsure of where to go! i really wanted to go back to majorca! so we looked around at the best deals and found a great one to magaluf!

We stayed at the Fiesta Jungla Hotel it was lovely with a massive pool! the rooms were very nice and everything you needed! the bars and restaurant was only a couple minutes walk away which was great after a good night out!

There is great night life in magaluf including the follwoing bars and night clubs:
Bananas, carwash, BCM, bar 29, boomerangs and Poco Loco! we also joined with the Free-Style team which were in the Hotel (sort of like 18-30 but not as mad)  we had the whole week planned with them doing different things including nights out, day at the waterpark, trip to the pirates show (which was amazing), popcorn party and a catamran! loads to do at good prices!

We both really enjoyed the holiday and may go back one year!

Not really sure what to expect, especially as the jungla freestyle in the summer months. When we arrived it was raining but on arrival very surprised at how nice it was.  

It was good to see alot of families with children of all ages. Apartment basic but very clean.Pool area great loads of beds so need to put towels on sunloungers too early. Reps do a great job here, if your kids like the kids clubs and football you will get a bit of peace.  The resort is just like i expected loads of places selling english food i would recommend tom brown's, lady's tavern and the place round the corner from jungla(don't know the name).  It wasn't a noisey as I expected but then it was half-term week and loads of families.

Dan and I loved it and have booked up for october half-term again but Dan taking a friend this time.

Booked this holiday last minute, bit dubious about magaluf not realy the 18-30's kind of person, but freestyle was over by then so ok. Lots of families and couples.

We didnt expect the weather to be much, pleasently sirprised by the 30 degrees on arrival weather stayed lovely all week oh except for one night when we experienced a thunder storm very exciting after all the lovely weather we sat on our balcony taking pictures of the lightning then decided we would go get a bite to eat (yes we are mad) so ended up running along the strip in the poring rain trying not to get caught by lightning and ending up under the pr of benny hills umbrella for cover. We felt a bit sorry for the new arrivals at the apartments after all its not nice arriving on a night flight let alone being greeted by a storm.

The next day though all was bright and sunny again as if the night before was a dream  or something.

The apartments themselves were lovely and spacious. nice breakfast bar area and massive balcony. We were fortunate enough to be overlooking the pool so we had a nice view of the pool it was massive aswell, realy nice first apartments ive stayed in that pool was that nice though we didnt go in it we prefer the beach which was absolutely gorgeous realy nice .Two sunbeds is 7 euros on the beach.

EXCURSIONS
cant realy help you there didnt go on any, didnt go to reps meeting to many bad experiences of getting ripped off.
Places to eat..
we loved hollywoods and the Lady travern although only fools and horses became intolerable by the end of our stay. The chinese restauant was lovely the duck was sublime. enjoyed cheap full english brekkies at the tavern next door to the hotel cant remember the name but regular simpsons on their t.v. Food is cheap and english mostly.
and sangria has got to be done!!!!!!!!!!!!

The only dissapointment in magaluf is it does begin to look like blackpool but then that does'nt have to be bad home comforts are a plenty.
Would def reckomend these apartments to familys in october obviously out of freestyle season. The kids seemed to love it there.

tips for airport on arrival..
follow the people on your plane we didnt and walked through the wrong door couldnt find our rep anywhere and nearlyended up on the wrong coach to much fretting for the begginning of a holiday but down to our own stupidity.

well thats all do enjoy magaluf is not as scary as its made out to be and have a glass of sangria on us. were of to fuetuerventura in november and will keep this site posted hehehe

I can strongly reccomend a visit to the Fiesta Jungla.

The rooms were very bright & airy and spotless clean. we were quiet worried that the hotel was formerly a "Freestyle" we expected a lot of rowdy gangs but that wasn't the case mostly families & older people.

There is a shop on site which is quiet reasonable.we didn't actually go into the bar so i can't say what prices were like in there.The Fiesta Jungla is ideally situated about 5 mins away from the main resort.One of the nicest bars to eat at is only a little place it is called "Hollywoods" & is next to the lady tavern.If your going out for a evening try "The Benny Hill bar" where you are given a garland and lots of silly party things,while you are in there you must try one of the huge cocktails (they are about 6 euros but worth it as i only had 2 but they last ages).The music is all party stuff (agadoo,cheeky girls,the macarena)but it really is a good laugh.

All in all magaluf is not the mad party place you hear about (at least not when went anyway). I,ve already booked to go back in oct 2005.
The Fiesta Jungla is definately worth a visit.

Not been back a week and just thought i should let you know how our holiday went!!!
IT WAS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!

The resort was spotless and we mean that.
really nice neighbours but can be loud about 3am mind we were to blame as well!!
Meet loads of nice people on our holidays and i would deffo go back but this time with my fiance.
you have to go to the bar next to KFC the PR'S name is DANNY he is the funnist bloke around.

Also you can't go to magaluf and not go into BCM planet Dance what an amazing experience it was 20 euro's and you had a free bar all night really good and quick service and we had 1)Backpack 2)Beach umbrella 3)Glowstick (dont get them in your eyes GOD THEY HURT) and 4 other things but cant remember what they were.
also they have a wicked foam party in milleniums bar downstairs.
Another good pleace to drink is benny hills and cheap.

1 BIG RIP OFF BY THE REPS IS :- Aqualand water park  DONT BOTHER you pay 16.95 euro's and when you get in there you have to pay for a sun lounger 3.10 euro's and also most of the rides need a rubber ring which you HAVE to rent again MORE MONEY 5 euro 10 euro deposit. Really expensive food in there and not very nice.
If you are gonna go there go on the boomarang thats a must top ride.

AND LASTLY THE STRIP:- Amazing some really good bars and some really boring and cr*p. we went into 1 bar as he promised us it was full and there was kareoke so we went in there and there was 6 of us in there it was pants.
Revolution is really good place and the DJ is a good laugh.
LADS watch out for the prozzies they are scary.

this was a late deal, an allocation on arrival in magaluf.was a bit worried about what we would get.one major tip for anyone staying in this aparthotel,if you are given block 9 make sure you overlook the pool.we were on other side and got woken up between 6.30am and 8.30am by trolleys being wheeled about full of laundry(what a noise).tom browns is a good place to eat.the adult pirate show is a definate must.benny hills is a great place to drink in the evening.a great holiday.

arriving at magaluf to overcast weather worried us a bit but there was no need as it was so hot the rest of the week, but you couldnt tell though from me and my fiance cos we are still white

the hotel was good and had everything we wanted, basic rooms but the biggest balcony ever which connected from the lounge to the bedroom

we were very unlucky to look over the football pitch which kids were in all the time and as its a cage like effect on the walls of the pitch, everytime the ball hit the cage wall it made an awful metal sound got on our nerves at first but after a while for some strange reason i didnt feel comfortable until i heard that noise

the maids came every other day or so but didnt do much if you see the trolley try and nab some toilet paper and towels

mostly families at the hotel with the children and a lot of couples with babies or on their own

the strip was dead we only really went to red lion pub which had a brilliant dj and a fit bar man

the food was very english and the best restaurants we ate in were magaluf corner, lady tavern and tom browns dont eat in hollywoods as im sure they microwaved our grilled chicken

palma was lovely and really easy to get to go to tom browns and you can catch a bus from there any bus from 103 - 107 costs 2 euros 20 cents and it took about 30 mins - 1 hour, in palma they've got c&a it was great

if you go to the catherdral look out for the moving statues which you have to put money in their pot before you can take a picture

also we went along the mariner and you see the beautiful yaughts and if you are lucky (we weren't) you might see Michael Douglas yaught and Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta Jones

Ok we booked 2 weeks before and paid no supplement for 1 bedroom apt. but Magaluf and the Fiesta Apts are what they are basic accomadation for 18-30 fun holidays close to clubs bars and beach but for older more seasoned travellers beware spain does not exist here or anywhere near worst food i,ve encountered in 30 years even the piella (tried 3 times different restaurants )awful !.Palma the capital is a wonderful place to visit great buidings clean and  a truly Spanish experience .

Magaluf itself bar pr,s annoying but freindly,holiday timeshare rip of s*ds  grrr! beware of the person on the street who peels back a prize winning coupon and tells you hey ! you,ve won a holiday mmm1 if you get in a taxi to be questioned for eternity to sign away a membership for cheap holidays that lead to more timeshare salesman when you get there too all at the knock down price of about £40 each. dont go unless you just want to walk away with a bottle or two of your favourite spirit.Dont go dont sign and dont get out your credit cards .

My/Our Holiday Opinion: 

i've been to Majorca 4 times now, 3 times to Magaluf and once to Palma Nova and i can say that this time was not what i expected! 

i absolutley love Magaluf and intend to go out to work next May but this hotel was not what the brochure said. i'm 19 and went with my family so i'm not complaining about noise but it said that from May to August it was a young persons hotel and september onwards it changed to a family hotel. how wrong was that! its quite embarrassing when your laying by the pool, eyeing up a bloke and your dad comes and sits next to you. not what i wanted!! 

the Fiesta Tropica is more of a family hotel. if i had been with my mates i would of said brilliant but it should be pointed out more. it is really noisy, up till about 3 in the morning when you get all the lads jumping in the pool and shouting. there was also a group of lads there at the same time that decided one of them would jump in to the pool during the day, with everyone watching, off of a very high water fall. he had to be dragged out by his friend with blood coming out of every hole in his face, unconscious. by the time we left, he was still in intensive care, with a suspected broken back and neck, unconscious. not a good thing to watch!! and definatly not what i would call a family hotel! hope he's ok though. perfect if your up for a clubbing holiday, and its right near BCM's. 

The resturants along there are brilliant, and cheap, the beach, only 5 minutes away! i seemed to pick the wrong week coz every bar had football on which i refused to watch! even Del Boys Pub, which, being an only fools and horses addict and knowing all the scripts off by heart, was a disapointment! thought i'd get settled to watch it and they turned the football on for 5 hours every night! i cant really comment much on the hotel as i didnt spend much time there but Magaluf itself is brilliant! cheap, fun, loads of sun, loads of happy people. the best for all types of groups going away!

Just come back from a billiant holiday in Magaluf, second time there but just as good!
Accomodation was excellent, can't believe its only a 3 star! Beware the broken tiles in the pool tho! Rooms were really big for just 2 of us sharing and the balcany was MASSIVE, great for those pre-club drinks. We reccomend you buy alcohol from the supermarket at the hotel cos its really cheap and we saved a LOAD of money gettin drunk before going out!
Couldn't believe the number of lads at this place when we arrived, wasn't many girls in sight! We were in block 6 on the 1st floor, can get a bit noisy at 6/7am tho if ur facing the pool but we were so drunk we hardly noticed ;)

We reccomend hiring out a safety deposit box tho while staying in the hotel cos we got money robbed out of our bags when we were asleep in the appartment! we left our bags in the living room after a night out and didn't think much of it and went to bed. but the next day the maid came into our room and shut the bedroom door. We assumed she was cleaning but when we got up, the appartment hadnt been touched and money had gone... nuff said. u can easily hire the safes out for 10 euros but unfortunatly we didn't :(

The hotel's just round the corner from the main club BCM - deffo reccomend going there! we saw tim westwood who was amazing and the foam party is a MUST. Beware the bar PRs tho! We got ripped off after falling for a buy 1 get one free offer on smirnoff ices, they charged us 6 euros when really you'd pay that price for 2 anyway!

I'll deffo be back to this place again soon, was well worth the money!

go and see pirates cos it's amazing!!!

oh, and beware the pr*stitutes who hang around the streets! if u even look at them they start on you!!

BEST HOLIDAY EVER! (Long Review, but covers everything!)
I went away with my b/f for my 18th bday, booked on Latedeals.com, I checked other reviews on the web and got really good reviews.

The hotel is about 5-10 minute walk to the main strip, it is not next door to any hotels, the road closest is really good for a quiter night out, lots of restaurants - really good food for really good prices!!Make sure you try 'Del Boys'!

The weather was perfect VERY HOT!
Fiesta Jungla is one of the best hotels in the resort, It is quite lively though, topless girls sunbathing, music around the pool, everyone drinking all day everyday!
Rooms are lovely, spacious and cool, no tv though!but can rent one from reception!
try and get a room with balcony facing pool area as other views are of dryed out fields!we had a pool view!

Magaluf doesnt get going until 10-11pm so the hotel is noisey until then!Everyone playing different music and drinking on their balconies!
Oh My God........The pool is seriously perfect, best ive ever had!its huge!got a waterfall and brigde over it.
There is a really good supermarket at the hotel but over the shops over the road are much better for boozebottle of wine 1.50euros and vodka 1ltr 4euros!!!

The beach is approx 10 mins walk depending which way you go, just past the strip!the water sports are good on magaluf beach but we ended up walking along to the next one as we wanted jet skis and we had heard that it was better and not as busy; to get there walk up the strip up to the top and follow the road round to the left easy to find!

Oh yer, the strip is actually on a hill!watch out for the mopeds on the road. I felt safe the whole time!KEEP AWAY FROM THE PA'S!they get so annoying, from around 5-6pm they stand on corners & outside their bars, offering u alsorts of deals to get you to go inside, at first it sounds good but it does get on your nerves in the end, as you shake one off another one comes over!!!!!
Best places to go, CHAPLINS, RED LION, POCO LOCOS, BCM, BOOMERANGS.

Whilst we were there, Lisa Maffia, Romeo and DJ Sammy were playing in the clubs but on the same night
1 we went to DJ Sammy at BCMs, really good night!BCMs is roung the corner from Fiesta Jungla, away from the strip; the place is huge!foam parties and god knows what!i lost my camera which upset me, went back next day and no one could give s*'t!
The pizza place nxt door to the hotel is very nice if you fancy a snack at any time of the day, i think it was open 24hrs!!!plays Friends and simpsons over and over!

Got a tatoo over their, if ur thinking of it make sure you go to the guy that has a shop neaar Benny Hills, nr McDonalds - over the road from Maccy Ds, walkalong the road towards the little shops and you come across a slope leading you upto some kind of tshirt printing place, its up their some where, really nice bloke, we both had them done their, no probs at all!

nearby is KFC, McDonalds and Pizza Hut, but honestly id say not as tastey as the UKs!go to the little tavernas along the roads, really cheap and very nice!

Along the strip, be sure to take advantage of the free shots and cocktails given out, also have a fish bowl/bucket!cocktails in huge buckets with huge straws!

If ur with ur b/f, keep an eye AT ALL TIMES!I ended up having to leave with him, we we stood their having a drink and a bunch of girls were playing some ice cube pass it on with their mouths game!and they tried to pass it on to him!TWICE!it was obvious that he was with me but unfortunatley there arre some girls like that out there!

One thing you must do, there is a little man which draws portraits, he is so good, we got a joint one done, they are so realistic!he is at the bottom of the strip, its like a local attraction!

The Jungla is a lovely place, expensive bar though. We didnt take part in any of the games/excursions/deals/bar crawls they offer, they looked really good though!If you wanna go on the bar crawls, heres a tip - you have to pay to go on the bar crawl, and this pays for the shots etc, what we did was waited in a bar for them to all start walking past, then we joined the group, because there was so many of them no one noticed!and the best bit was thet when your in a huge group like that with the reps with you, all of the PAs leave you alone so you have a PA free night!!

Overall the holiday was GREAT, The hotel was lush, nearby to everthing but away from the noise!i will defo be going their again!
HIGHLY RECOMENDED!!!!!

Hey there to all we met whilst we were in the Jungla. We booked this holiday from the website the day before we left and got a bargain.(thanx Tony) It was allocation on arrival and we definetly struck it lucky! We were greeted at 3am by many men wanting to help us with our luggage we were in Block 9. 

The location was excellent we were a short walk away from the strip and we popped in that little Irish bar on the corner once or twice. We ate at the Lady Tavern (just past KFC) which was great food. We had so many fab nights where do we begin, we went to Revolution  near the top of the hill of the strip which was great, we also found a karoke place with Willie Wilson as the DJ at the top of the hill called the Rose &  Crown its a must for a karoke session and if you go tell him his fellow Willy said hi! 

We must also mention first of all the Manchester Boys that were next door and the special ones of u, u know who u are! Then they were the Leicester Boys - Tom Brian, Boobies, Luke, Alex (sorry for standing on your head) and the fugitive and hi to the rest of u 2. the luton boys that never came back. the scottish sharks in the pool, watch out for those girls its true the ratio of girls to guys is amazing out there. Oh and we cant forget the boy we found from Middlesbrough that was naked and covered in Tuna -  so many stories so little time. 

If your staying in the Jungla have a fab time but im almost certain you will, oh almost forgot the pool is huge to but watch for the loose tiles! Have a fab time if your going and hi to all of u that can remember us northern birds! may c u again next year! xx

What can we say but- we just had the best holiday of our lives!This hotel is excellent if your looking for a week of madness and parties!

We arrived at 10pm to find the hotel bar full of lads and not one gal in sight! All the lads jump up to help ya with ur cases! We were in block 10 room 203 and 207. We had two gals in each room, and felt sorry 4 all those people who had to squash 4 people into a room! it looked like hell! Our room was of a nice size and the balcony was massive! great for parties! 

On our corridor we were the only gals and were surrounded by fellas! Great! We made friends with all the lads on our floor and even the lads downstairs! Every room has a phone which is great to make friends and wind up people and invite people to ur party! We had such a good time at the Fiesta Jungla! 

Rooms didnt have air con, but the celing fan done the job really! Also was a graet party trick, Every night we would find our selves throwing food up at the fan seeing how badly it would get sliced up and thrown round the room.! this then turned into war! Playing knocking down ginger with the lads and throwing food at each others fan! Pool is massive thou we went to the beach every day! But sunbeds seemed to go very quick at hotel! Supermarket in hotel was very handy! and cheap!

Any one going to this hotel will have a great time and we are going back next year with out a doubt! we loved it! Its the place to be! Only 5 mins from the main strip! two mins from BCM 3 mins from MC donalds! and about 7 mins to the beach!

This is My third time to Magaluf this year and so far the best hotel for parties and madness! before i was staying at 4-5 * hotels but they tended to be all families and boring! but the jungla is far different! We would eat in Tom Browns everyt morning for breakfast! Yummy! just near Mc Donalds! We done Pirates which was amazing! So funny and the show is just Fab! Also done a trip to western water park but didnt buy that one from the rep as its cheaper out side in the little tourist places! But we brought pirates from the rep as it was every one from freestyle going! Please do pirates its a must and make sure you buy the sword and ban-danner to join in the fun! every one fights you on your way up to the strip after the show! its graet fun!
We didnt but the whole package from the rep as the year before we went to Malia in Crete and purchased it to find we were ripped off! Also the day of our rep meeting at the Jungla, they was many people in reception moaning at the reps that they had been ripped off so really think it thru!
Any way any one going to the Jungla, your so lucky and we are so jelous!
See you there in July 2005!!!!

Excellent top floor poolside view, but not good if wanting to crash out for a couple of hours before u go out, because of the poolside entertainment at night. Reception,safe key fee, cleaners etc all generally ok.BCM only a 2 min walk away which is good,pay 20 euros to get in then a free bar every night till 6am. something for everyone in all clubs-70s and 80s carwash night at boomerangs,pat sharpe was also there aswell. jason donavan at bananas. foam party at bcm( cover your face when they drop it on you),dancers are good in there aswell, they let u get up with them as long as your game for it.

If u like watching only fools and horses on holiday well they gone one better,"the del boys bar" across from bcm.Legends across from the main doors of the jungla good for a first drink,free shot with every first drink and they get stronger the more u go in.
Beach ok, but dont buy a drink from the locals selling it on the beach, they'll open it for u and charge you 10 euros(£7),thats just for a can of pop.
Overall- big resort which has something for everyones taste.Highly recommended, im going back anyway

Me and the girls went to Magaluf for our first girly holiday and we ended up having the best time. We chose the Fiesta Jungla as it was the cheapest and from reading the reviews here it sounded like the ideal place to stay!

The Flight- unfortunately with the cheap holdiay comes the sh*t flight times but when you get there all you have to do is sleep on a sun lounger!

The hotel- I thought the hotel was fantastic considering its basically an 18-30s free-for-all. The rooms and the pool etc are all well maintained. The rooms easily fit in four of you and no one has to share a bed (not sure of thats a good or bad thing). Balconies are huge, great for pre club drinks! There is no air conditioning in the rooms but there are ceiling fans. Its also worth paying 10 euros for a safe and sharing it betwen you. There is a mini market in the hotel which is reasonably priced or theres a spar across the road.

The pool- is huge, and when we were there half of it was closed but it was definitely big enough for the 600 or so guests there. Just a warning there are sunbeds but they go quickly and if you aren't watching then people come and throw your stuff off a bed and steal it

The reps- the reps all seemed nice enough but be aware of booking the package its 184 euros but its no cheaper than paying individually at a club and it means you are very restricted in what you do- for example we booked the Pirates excursion only to find out Pat Sharp was in one of the clubs. Our advice is to go on your own, you'll have a better time. Also some of our mates DID book the package and then didn't go on it and so wasted about £150

The Strip- this is about five minutes walk away from the hotel so high heels are not a problem and when you get there you are spolit for choice. Most of the reps will try to force you into their (usually crap) bar. One bar at the start of the strip, its second on the right i think, was really good and it works out to be 3 drinks for 5 euros

The clubs- Tokio Joes is really good if you like R&B music and it has air con- got to be a blessing. Tokio Joes, Boomerangs, Bananas, Fusion, and another club are all on the MCP pass which is where you pay about 10 euros at any club and you have free entry to all five clubs all night. One club night you can't miss out on is Gold on Sundays when Jason Donovan and E17 rotate every week. It was Jason D on the 11 July, so it was E17 on the 18th and so on. BCM is opposite the hotel and it is 20 euros for all inclusive drinks all night and if you pay before 12 you get loads of free gifts. The best way to take advantage of this is to go over at 10, pick up your free stuff, take it back to the room then go to the BCM bar on the strip for all you can drink before heading back to BCM. BCM is two clubs-1 is house music the other is more mixed with pop and dance etc. Watch out the for foam parties though, we suffocated in it. BCM also has big names drop by but you dont usually find out until that day, for example when we were there we had Seb Fontaine, Ultrabeat and Judge Jules. Big names usually come an anywhere between 2 and 4.

The Beach- we spent most days at the beach (blokes in the hotel were too pervvy) and it was a really nice beach. An umbrella and 2 sun loungers was 7.50 euros so we bough lilos in the hotel shop for 2 euros and swapped about during the day. Food is cheap at the beach- huge jacket potatoes are 3 euros and pizza is 2 euros a slice. There are watersports on offer at the beach but we were too lazy to try them. Water is lovely and clear and there are some tiny little fishes. Be warned though- two of us had our bags stolen when the went to the beach after clubbing so dont leave anything out of sight

Pirates- this is the only excursion we did book and although it was quite expensive (52 euros) you get a meal, all you can drink sangria and of course those sexy pirates. Definitely worth a trip and you can go clubbing afterwards

Warning- In Magaluf (and other 18-30 resorts) its roughly 8 men to one girl and this is worse in the Fiesta Jungla (about 10-1) so girls, you ARE going to spend a week being groped and shouted at by guys from the minute you leave your room but on the plus side it means you can have pretty much any bloke you want!

Thats about it and if you are heading there then you will have a wicked time! on the down side I wouldnt recommend familes went any time during Freestyle season, the Fiesta Tropico is better for families in the summer really.

the fista jungla is exellent for people aged between 16 to 30. fit lads and fit girls hog the swimming pool loungers everyday so theres pleanty of eye candy for everyone! it can get a bit noisy between the hours of 2 am and 6 am, when everyone is coming back from the clubs, so i wouldnt recommend the jungla if youve got kids. 

bcm nightclub around the corner is exellent, most nights you pay just 16 euros (about a tenner) and you get all your booze for free! yes thats right i said free! the strip is cool, but its well expensive. the bars around the bcm area are much cheaper and friendlier. plus theres not as many p.r's peastering you to go into there bars. 

for food id recommend the lady tavern just opposite bcm, its well cheap and the food is exellent. pirates was an exellent night out, go to the adult show not the family one because its much better and funnier! a good day trip is to the western water park, its chaeper than the other parks and you get alot more for your money. dont buy any trips from your reps because you can get it much cheaper in tourist shops all around magaluf. 

all around magaluf was exellent for drinking and pulling and a great time in general.

Well what can I say, by far the best holiday I have ever been on.
5 of us mad chicks stayed there Aug 03

Fiesta Jungla was mad, absolutley loads of people lying aroung that pool, the place was clean, rooms quite spacious
compared to alot of others! Shop situated within the grounds, how handy!

The nightlife is amazing here, there is every kind of music you could want, the PR people do your head in like, but that is what they're paid (poorly) for! The clubs are brill, millenium was very good, we went into BCM's once to see
Judge Jules, I dont really like that kind of music, but the atmosphere was electric and a must see!

Recommend the pirates night out, the show is great and u get completely hammered!

The shops/bars/resteraunts are all very nice and offer a great range. A definite place for a great holiday!

The Fiesta Jungla  was just as described in the brochure - we had a lovely view over the pool - the apartment was very clean -everything was in working order - the only thin was the lift between blocks 8-9 was constantly broken but  we used the other lifts  which were fine - they did havethe engineers out  twice while we were there  so hopefully it wil lbe sorted before the busy season june/july /aug otherwise the people on the top floor have a long walk up 6 flights of stairs - not something you want to do when your falling over from drink lol
The reps weregreat  especially with the kids and the entertainment was good as well ,
Magaluf itself was great - we found lots of places to eat and the favourite was Lady Tavern which offered great food and great prices - the all you can eat buffet at 8.95 euros at han zhiou's  was great another fav while we were there - enjoyed a great night  at the red lion pub-great dj - my daughter loved him lol
BEWARE
the touts  on the corners who offer you leaflets to open and tel lyou that you have won a holiday but haveto go to santa ponsa to claim it - wewent and found it to be a rip off- spent 5 hours at the convention center then wewere told it was 7k to buy into this group who say they can get you holidays at half price but  we had already got a costing for Florida before we went to  majorca and this company couldnt match what we had got ourselves so unless you have 7k to  throw away dont go to santa ponsa -als onone of the people trying to sellthis to you had actually bought into it either - now what does that tel lyou !!!!!!!!!

this was our second year going ot majorca and wil ldefinately be going back agai nas we feel so relaxed there its another world
the pirates show was brilliant -food could be better but the show was well worth the cost -western water park was our favourite  of the 2 waterparks as there was other things to do rather than just swim and slides .

What you waiting on...... Get your self to the magamar. Its the place to be, our 1st time away and loved it!

There is no rules here, we came home totally wasted, with our kebabs/chips & cheese/pop corn chicken and started playing football with guys next door! Anyone after a hardcore 2 weeks of partying/drinking and having a class time. The magamar is right for you.

The pool is not the bigest but never really fills up. Its pritty deep at most parts but still able to get a game of hearders... Oh yea, nearly anything goes in the pool. They have a life gaurd but he's jst reading his book or drinking a pint.. it really is that gd.

Food is really nice for a hang over cure. Free stlye reps do try a bit to hard to get ppl involved during the day... but that can be eaily avoided. Rooms are very clean, big enough for 4 guys, in which 3 slept in the living room cause its so hot. No air con in the rooms which makes it very hard to get ready with out sweat patches, but you can hire fans for 12 euro for a week maybe?!?!

we loved it, arrived there and loved every second.

We have just got back from Magaluf, we stayed in the Fiesta Magamar. We can safely say we would never set foot in the hotel again, it was clean and basic but nobody told us that it was an 18 to 30 hotel when we booked the holiday in June.
The noise was 24/7 we didn`t get much sleep at all if you can sleep through people shouting, screaming, fights and door slamming at all hours then good luck.

we came 2 the magamar not expecting the ritz anyway as we had already read reviews on here before travelling.(and they aint lies!!)
hotel is ok and staff are friendly enough but at night the noise in the hotel echo´s so theres no chance of getting a decent nights sleep!!!
the pool is tiny so if you want to get a sunlounger you have to get up very early!!
we just went to the beach most days as it is only down the road.

bought the MCP club passes off the reps after they gave us the speech of how worth while it is and how much money you are gonna save.
but beleive me it is a RIP OFF!!!!!
its cheaper to do it yourself and pay on the door!!!

went to the BCM foam party (supposedley the biggest in the world) another waste of money!!!!

all in all magaluf is good but would definately NEVER stay in the fiesta magamar again!!!!

Well here we are at the magamar as we speak and were aving a gr8 time were all mad for it!! Were not ere for a long time but were ere for a fucking good time and thats wot u get at the magamar. Dont fink about cumin if u want sleep bcoz it will not happen you av 2 b hardcore and wanting more to survive!! u get water bombs threw at you as you arrive and guns shot at you wen u leave. the guys are fitt but love thereselves except the guys frm the 511 especially u lee always MAD4IT they were ace were always ere 4 minestronie soup and a brew weneva u need!! The strippers (hello matthew) are OFF DA HOOK! and the clubs dont stop they are wild!!!! Get urself to the magamar for a wild and wicked time we av 2 go now coz our time is running out lov da gals frm da 411 MAD4IT!!!!!!!!!! XXXXX

We were on allocation on arrival as it worked out so much cheaper as we only booked two weeks before going. 

Out of the three possible hotels - Fiesta Jungla, Fiesta Magamar and Don Bigote, I think the Magamar is the one with the lowest official rating and to be honest it does show. 

The staff are friendly enough and quite happy to help though - a tip if you end up stying here, buy your excursions from the reception desk as they work out cheaper than from the Freestlye reps and also are cheaper than you can get them on the door. The rooms are very basic, but good enough if all you want to do is sleep in them. We weren't into staying out till 4 or 5 am and unfortunately we got woken up at about 4 every morning by people coming in from clubs making noise. The rooms have a ceiling fan which doesnt really do much to be perfectly honest. Also the views out of the rooms arent exactly spectacular. We could see the hotel across the street and the parking lot of the rentacar next door. 

The one good thing about the Magamar is that it is close to both the Western Waterpark and the Magaluf Aquacity and also the Pirates show. I recommend the Western Waterpark, it's much better than the other one in Magaluf. We didnt go on any of the reps excursions except for 'Spank' and we only did that because it was free!! The reps try and flog you the big expensice excusions package, but they aren't too pushy which is good and if you say no they will leave you alone.

Magaluf itself is a bit like England but dirtier, and louder. We went out a couple of times while wewere there. The PR reps are a bit annoying, especially the BCM ones, but we figured the best thing to do is take the leaflet and carry on walking. There are a hell of a lot of bars, some good, some bad. The PRs outside all try and get you to go in for a drink, most of the time you get 2 for 5 euros plus a free cocktail or shot so its not too bad. 

The beach in Magaluf is quite nice for during the day. If you want a quieter night the best thing to do is probably yo head towards Palma Nova which is similar but slightly cleaner and quieter. A quality place to go in Palma Nova is the minigolf, which has three good 18 hole minigolf courses.

We didnt cook any meals in the hotel because a) we cant cook, and b) i dont think the hobs worked! The best places that we went to eat were, Robinson Crusoes on the beach front, the Boat Yard (next door to Crusoes) and the Number one Chinese Restaurant.

Overall we had a pretty good time, although a couple of us have been ill since returning - make sure you drink bottled water, amd be careful of ice in drinks in the bars, as sometimes its made from tap water. If you want a loud active holiday whre you dont get up until the afternoon and dont get in until the morning then Magaluf/Fiesta Magamar is probably for you. If you dont, then spend a bit extra, and go to a better hotel in Palma Nova or Alcudia.

Well what can i say! We read all the reviews on here before we went, as you do and were absolutely shocked when we got there because it is nowhere near as bad as people make it out to be!

Arrived at the beginning of the season-we were actually the first guests of the year!! The freestyle reps were great, really helpful and most of all a good laugh!

Acccomodation was v basic but what do u expect from a 2*? Clean enough, although the showers get really cold after the 2nd shower, so make sure your not last in.

The resort itself was excellent plenty of bars and clubs and make sure you buy theb passes off the reps at the beginning of the holiday cos they save you alot of money. We got Pirates, BCM, Popcorn party, Western water park, school disco and a booze cruise for £72 and most of them include free Bar!!

The weather was really warm as we were expecting it to be cold but dont hesitate to book in may as its warm, theres still plenty of people there. Think it would be rowdy in july and august as people mess about outside there rooms when they get home from the p1ss so can imagine it to be well noisy but anyone looking for a good time certainly book here.  we were absolutely fine and can say it was one of my best holidays! x x

The magamar appartments, absolutely brilliant,is very noisy but hey who cares? when ur absolutely minced anyway, just join in and open sum bottles of san migual. Great  hotel to get minced in and superb atmosphere during the day aswell very relaxed.

Had to leave a review on this Hotel because we all thought it was fantastic! Had the holiday of a lifetime and were crying when the bus picked us up to leave! The Rooms in the Magamar are nice Basic rooms the Air-conditioning is pretty poor but you can hire a fan from the reception. This hotel is Crazy, Not slept All week its a party 24/7. Pools small but its a good laugh spent alot of time there. the Restraunt we only ate Breakfast there once but it was Decent.
the Reps were really nice too. All I Can say is Magaluf is great and the Magamar is the best place to stay.

Well what can we say if you like your sleep do not stay here.On the whole the Magnmar is not as bad as we expected,it was all kept clean but it does look like a prison but we have stayed in worse places.

When all the noise kicks off from about five to eight its lots of shouting no actually talking and nothing is done about it.

If you love chavs you will be right at home in the pool hence we went to the beach.

The nightlife was cr*p very quiet and no atsmophere.

On the whole we would not go back again but the Magnmar is not that bad but you will need sleep when you get home.

Visited these apts in october with the expectation of them being fairly dire. Arrived in the evening and were pleasantly surprised. 

Staff were reasonable and polite if you showed them the same respect. rooms were basic but clean, although there was only one small mirror which was pants for a group of girls trying to get ready. during the week we managed to see the rooms of other guests and discovered that we'd got a pretty raw deal as the 2rooms we had were tiny in comparison. 

Within the first morning we decided that the living room sofa and camp bed were not going to last us through the week as we were woken up at a ridicluous hour by the bin men, so for the rest of the week we crammed 4 of us into the bedroom with 2of us sleepin on lilo's! the down side to this was that rooms got very stuffy and hot (with only one window that openend out onto the rest of the accomadation) and we still had very little sleep as music was played from early in the morning til very late. This wasnt too much of a hassle tho as we generally got in at about 6 in the morning anyway then had a kip on the beach. 

Would not recommend the apts to families or those looking for a quiet holiday as (even though it was obviuosly alot quieter than in high season)the apts were generally quite loud but this was all good as everyone was just up for a laugh.

As for the resort, it is great for a week with mates and saw many families so aslong as certain areas are avoided it is good fun for kids as well. if you go with freestyle the package they offer will probably rip you off a lil bit but not a great amount of money and it meant that we didnt spend the entire week monging out on the beach. western water park, catamaran and (especially) the foam party at BCM are not to be missed, the latter being possibly one of the best nights of my life!

girls beware of guys following u home and some of the alcohol in boomerangs (esp aftershock), we had a hospital incident! and dont expect to get much sleep! apart from that woulo recommend resort and apts as we had a wicked time.

Ok, the Magamar, definately looked like a prison. Hotel was ok through the day, playin music an everyone just chillin out, they operate a 'no noise policy' after 12am, or well they r supposed to, every nite for 2 weeks we were woken up at about 5-6am by people comin in from the clubs, doors banging and ppl shoutin an arguing. Also the person in room 221 (u know who u r) deciding to bang on pans in the corridoor was annoying, and throwing anything he could get his hands on over the balcony including chairs and setting paper on fire throwing it into a tree. Security did nothin.

Rooms are ok, very basic with only 2 rings to cook on but u get a toaster an kettle and are frequently cleaned although we were there 2 weeks and didnt have our bedding changed once, after sweatin every nite it wasnt good.
Overall was a good holiday, reps were very helpfull.

Will go to Magaluf again, dont know bout the Magamar tho.

Just got back from Magaluf and thought I'd have to leave a review.
I had a really good time in Magaluf and especially in the Magamar!
I read the reports before I went away & most people said it was like a prison! It was! The layout of the hotel was set out in long square corridors with door after door spanning 5 floors and the noise also made it seem like a prison! We later found out off one of the reps that it was actually based on a spanish prison!

This hotel is full of young people looking to have a good time and the crack poolside was class! Especially due to the Tank!! Big Lee from Edinburgh, he was some boy like.
You couldn't get to sleep in the Magamar til at least 6, the constant noise and banging made sure of that!
The Freestyle Reps (Steve, Nikki, Stacey & Sallie) were top quality, haven't met nicer people and they totally made my holiday. Will see you at the Quayside soon!

The nights out in Magaluf were quality, streets were absolutely packed, totally what you want. Definitely visit BCM (20 Euros all you can drink!), Jokers (Meeting point for Freestyle), Bananas (Cheesy Tunes!), Tokio Joes (RnB Tunes) & Poco Locos (Bar that's got it going on!).

While we were in Magaluf we visited lots of clubs on nights when people were on the decks or playing live, we seen Pat Sharp (DJing at Spank, legend!!), East 17 (Playing live at Gold, Harvey is a living legend!), Paul Taylor (On the decks at Retro), Jason Donavan (Playing live at Gold, enough said), Lisa Mafia (Playing live at RnB Heaven, she was tops) and the pick of the bunch had to be Tim Westwood on the decks at BCM, the music was quality. Definitely go and see some of the live acts if you're out there.

We did some excursions too, we went to the water park which was ok, nothing spectacular but was a good laugh. We went on the catamaran which was a good laugh too and definitely worth doing, lots of good gossip, if you were on with me you'll remember Nik & Tenerife?? Nuff said!
All in all Magaluf was a great laugh, and the Magamar was wild but if you're young and up for a good laugh the Magamar & Magaluf would be an amazing place for you're holiday.

Ok Ok , where do I start?! It was the best holiday I've ever had, although it was my first time abroad so i'm not to shocked.. but anyway what a standard to start by!!!

we booked with lunn poly and we had this deal where abouts there were 3 places we were stopping at and we didnt know which (magamar, jungla or don bigote in palama nova) obv we wanted to stay at jungla (HAVE U SEEN THE POOL). but we got magamar. we had a night flight so got to the hotel at like 5 in the morning wen every1 was coming in... got in our room very average - but i dont think u can expect anymore! but the noise was terrible, wanted to go home! woke up went to welcome meeting which was useful, we had chance to go on every excursionw ith freestyle, but we went on none. the pool at magamar is poor, so we preferred to speand all our time at the beach, which is lovely got some good places to eats and baers on the beach front!

At night, we'd go to the green parrot, which is right near the magamar (left out the entrance and folo that road all the way round) also mabos next door is good aswell. Green Parrots is ace, i cannot big it up enough... the bloke who owns it is the DJ (DJ'gobshite') everyone who walked thru the door gets slated lol but its all in good fun! Bash the barman is wicked, he's irish, he's so nice! make sure u ask for a 'lollipop' shot! yummm! if u see him say hi from the girls who had 82 driving lessons! i cud talk about the green parrot and bash all day, infact i have been i got back yday and its all ive spoke  about and also u shud go there if u from middleborough, big fans of them in there! shirts everywhere! ok so also go to panama jacks and pachas which is in plama nova at the other end of the strip.. the venue above fusion ... hmm we didnt go in many bars :S cos my mate wasnt a fan of PR's lol. they're ok tho just doing there job! and u get free shots so u may aswell go in! I'd recomend boomernags and tokio joes if u like RnB, esp TJ's! bananas and fusion is u like scouse house and  carwash for the classics.... BCM-biggest club in europe, its good! its huge, i just go vfor the experience.

if i was to go again, which i say is the most likely thing to occur in my life... i'd stay at the jungla its ACE! the pool is the best thing ive ever been in! and there r so many fitties in unbleievable. dont do what me and my mate did tho, go to the tropico by mistake cos it also has a decent sized pool and think its the jugla - such dumbasses

have a gr8 gr8 gr8 time! b4 i came reading somre reviews made me petrified of going, i didnt know what i'd let myself in for! but it best thing ive done!  I met some truly amazing people , the worst thing about ya holiday is is that its unlikely that ull ever see em again! so make the most of it! wana say hello to the guys from south end. the lads from st helens (nice room :P) and the lads from liverpool - whom i totally fell in love with - WHAT ACCENTS!!! "helen, have u got cob on?" "Gettin a chip balm from chippy" - loved ya lads!!! missin ya already and hope rest of ya holiday was great!

We had THE best time ever in Magaluf! 

When the travel agent told us about it, I was a bit worried, but we arrived during the day, and immediately We felt better! Dropped our suitcases down and headed for the bar! We spent the first night (sun) in the hotel bar and played pool, eyeing up the talent (collar, you know who you are!) then went to bed as we were shattered from the early mornin flight! 

Mon was better, we managed to meet two great lads during the day who showed us the resort that night (colin ad dave, you two are stars!) and we ended up just doing the bars on the strip.  Ended up in Paddy's and staggering home along the beach! Tues night in BCM'S was FANTASTIC! Although it got a bit chilly in there about 5 in the mornin (thanks for lending me your t-shirt col!)and we met 15 lads from Norwich who were on a stag do, and later found out they were next door to us-which we later regretted! 

Pirates is out of this world-You MUST go! Green parrot is also a great place to go, and only just around the corner! Our apartments were fantastic and it's the sort of place where you can just chill during the day!  Ben Ling-you are fantastic! and gave us such a laugh! (don't forget our shout out in your 'memoirs'!) 

All in all, it was great fun and we'll definitely going back-watch out those that know us!

What a crazy place this is.  If your into having a full two weeks of total madness then book the Magamar!  No one in here ever seems to sleep with constant noise that keeps going until 8am.  

Dont get me wrong i thought this place was great and so were the reps Niki, Stacey and the macam Steve who were all great people.  The hotel rooms themselves are basic but kept clean and tidy and was very happy with the room.  Be careful when you arrive back to your room after a night on the drink cause people like to throw waterbombs etc over the balcony and one night someone even threw a fridge off the 5th floor balcony which is insane but quite funny looking back on it.  

All in all a really good time in magaluf and would defo go back there again and infact even stay at the magamar so enjoy!

Well what can I say, the Magamar is the biggest hole I have ever stayed in - it was like a cross breed of Prison Cell Block H (with NO birds) and Biker Grove(full of Geordies). The apartments were disgusting and I would be hard pressed to send my worst enemy there. I actually left the Magamar after one night and stayed in a nice 4 star hotel, which in turn would have worked out alot cheaper.

Magaluf lacks class - big time. It is a big hole.

The Venue was good as was BCM on RnB night only.

Also the amount of blokes to women was ridiculous - 20 blokes to every 1 woman I reckon... 

Overall, I wouldn't go there again.

our first visit to magaluf was totally ruined with the fact that for a full week we got little or no sleep due to the fact that we were kept awake all night with the lager louts returning from there nights out, this accomadation should be advertised as club 18-30. 

On arrival we were put in a corridor of teenagers partying all night, our pool view was overlooking the bucket area where all the young ones were playing a game of trying to get there empty beer bottles in the bucket and spitting over the balconies, they were playing loud music all night and shouting and running along the corridors all night. We complained to the rep and we got moved to another apartments which was supposed to be quieter but again were kept awake all night with the louts who would proceed to jump in the pool at all hours shouting and screaming at each other and throwing anything they could get there hands on into the pool there was also an element of religious hatred going on between two rival groups and the police had to be called on at least 2 occasions that we knew of. 

Magalluf is a nice resort with a lovely clean beach and loads of nice bars and restuarants, one to be aware of is tom brown who will serve up a pork chop that is raw in the middle. Benny hill's bar is great for family entertainment and a nice cocktail. If you are considering magalluf as a holiday would not recommend the FIESTA SAHARA APARTMENTS

The Thomson brochure reads (FAMILY FAVOURITE), b**locks! We love magaluf and love the nightlife, the strip the nightclubs the music. The food is fantastic, steak pie from the moon bar, grilled chicken breast in dianne sauce from the steak house and all this without turning a corner from the siesta sahara. 

The beaches are beautiful, white sand clear shallow waters. Shopping cant be helped, there are so many and prices are reasonable. We have enjoyed many great holidays here and would have done again had we not stayed at the siesta sahara. Its basic but has everything you might need for a holiday base. We didnt spend one day by the pool as it was taken over by the usual gobs***"s. 17yrs old, first time without mamma and papa, probably first alcoholic drink! At first they are sort of amusing to watch, like "monkey business" on the wildlife channel, but after 15mins it gets boring. They have absolutley nothing to say to each other so its just shouting a load of crp over your head. They swagger around the pool pretending they are half cut with a can in their hand and its priceless. Show them a female and every sxist comment ever written is your poolside entertainment. They dare each other to pss in the pool (oooh its so daring) and jump up and down on the loungers (just incase those females havnt noticed them yet) chanting football songs. No, not for us thanks, we spotted all this going on from our balcony and made a sharp exit to the beach (EVERYDAY). 

After a fantastic night out in magaluf we were getting home around 4.30am (yes we like to party) and falling into bed but sleep is impossible as the kids dont have mamma with them to tell them to get to bed. It all kicks off about 5am, the same shouting and chants and falling in the pool. Security is useless, they make as much noise shouting at the offenders whilst the little monkeys think its part of the fun to have them running backwards and forwards. Magaluf doesnt belong to the plebs and they can be avoided if you avoid the likes of the sahara.

WOW!! what a brilliant holiday ,i know there was a crowd of us ,but the hotel was great as well as the resort.  we had read bad reviews about the cleaners but one of our party lost her wedding ring, we looked all over the apartment and couldn't find it, but the cleaner found it and left it on the side, my friend was very happy to say the least. The resort was great Benny Hills, Goodfellows and Manos are really good we had great nights in all of them. we saw a Robbie Tribute in Manos it was excellent  

we would recommend it to anyone.anyway we're all booking to go back next year same time same place

Just got back from the Fiesta Sahara.After
reading previous reviews we were a little anxious of what to expect ! We need not have worried it was mostly families for this time of year the, 18/30 season was over for the summer.
The apartments are in a good location .5 minutes walk to the beach and even less to shops and bars .Magaluf is not far from Palma Nova which is a lot quieter than Magaluf .
The apartments were clean on arrival they had everything you needed.Maid service is poor, clean towels only twice in the week.

The restraunts are good value , but very British.
All in all we had a really good holiday and the weather was great.

Just Got back from 2 weeks in the fiesta sahara. After reading the reviews i was very concerned about staying here. I have to say it was all that bad. Rooms are very basic,ie you get oven trays but don't have an over to put them in. our fridge wasn't at the correct temp and when i told reception they sent a maintance man up, he didn't do anything i had already tried. the freezer door snapped off and the bathroom door came off it's top hinge. Fans in the room don't help one bit! Noise was not a problem, only got woken once in the night.

This was our first visit to magaluf and we loved it. Would recommend the steak house just up from benny hills they do great food at reasonable prices. Drank in the sugar bar most nights, great people.

spent most days on the beach.... get a lilo it's cheaper than spending 9 euro's a day on beds and an umbrella. BEWARE don't by anything from the beach sellers selling drinks and fruit.. they WILL rip you off!!

Pirates night is a must but don't book your tickets through thompson we saved 8 euro's each shopping around.

Already looking at going back to magaluf with the kids but not tothe same hotel.

Don't believe ALL you read on here. Go and make your own mind up!

First of all i had the best week of my life in magaluf. The sahara is a good hotel and about 3 mins walk from BCM, 5 from the beach and less than 10 minutes walk from the main strip. The rooms are basic but have everything you need (we only used it to sleep a couple hours a day). The hotel has a party atmosphere doors open, music playing and people singing of balconies so i wouldnt recommend this hotel for families.

As for the resort there is loads to do, especially in the evenings. BCM is a must, massive club only 20 euros to get in and that includes all the free t-shirts and stuff u get given when u enter and a free bar all night. Lookout for the foam and water parties great laugh, they are in the downstairs room, so dont miss them. Also clubland at Bananas shouldnt be missed we saw flip and fill, very good night.

Try and get hold of an MCP card it allows u free entry into the main clubs tokio joes, bananas, boomerangs and carwash (next to bananas) but not BCM for the whole week, ask your rep for one. Another must is the pirates show, voted best night out in europe for 15 years running, again free sangria, red wine and soft drinks all night and a meal is served half way through, loads of stunts and funnies.

As for starter bars look out for Poco Loco (near bananas on the main strip) nice cosy disco with decent music and two for one on drinks, gets u in the mood for a good night out. Also Jokers Bar is good for meeting and live sports, away from the strip near the sahara. If your heading through the strip give a firm no to PRs or they will drag you into a bar you dont want to go to.
Ask your rep about freestyle excursions we went on a catamaran cruise with a free bar, music and adult games, good laugh.

As for shopping, the supermarket at the sahara isnt the cheapest u will find cheaper close by. The sahara snack bar though is good and prices are good compared with other restaurants. The restaurant by McD's is also good think its called Tom Browns, very nice food but slightly more expensive than other places.

Beach is very nice and clean and the pedaloes are a good laugh for 10 euros an hour, lookout for the people trying to sell melon though as they wont give up.

Have to admit to being horrified at being given Magalluf on an allocation on arrival, but were pleasantly surprised - beautiful ( although busy ) pine-fringed beach, everything in easy reach, and though you would struggle to find anything more exotic than paella, food is good and the cheapest we have ever found anywhere.
But these apartments - oh dear.  I would agree with previous correspondents who say Thomson need to decide whether this is for families or freestle - it's not fair on either group to mix. Noise was appalling ALL night and the favoured pastime during the day was throwing things from the balcony - chairs, water, food footballs, paper darts, towels you name it. Notices posted on reception doors had no effect. Rep less than helpful.

Even my 21 and 16 year old daughters thought it was bad, though both have said they would go back to Magalluf.
Lovely ornamental pond at the front of the complex but an absolute breeding ground for mossies - we saw people who could play dot to dot on their legs. Local British doctor recommends eating marmite before you go! Aparently they can taste the yeast in it and keep away.

Highlights - watching the attraction catamaran arrive back from the booze cruise each day - at least one flat out on the sands each day, one young lady minus her pants!
I've been to much worse places - I would rate Magalluf above San Antonio, Albufeira and LLoret de Mar, but choose your accommodation carefully, unless you intend to be comatose with drink all week and don't give a damn. Feel like having a tee shirt printed with 'I'm 46 and I survived a week in Magalluf' !

Apartment was quite good considering we paid £220 each for 1 week in August.Rooms of good size , apart from no oven (Only hobs) and the maids stole £10 from out of the room.The floors in the rooms are filthy.Wear shoes!!Never heard any noise when going to sleep and didn't see any fights whatsoever.

Didn't actually use the  pool or bar as preferred to go out.During a five minute walk down the strip around 10-15 PR's will try and get you into the bars.The worst were the BCM PR's who seemed to be everywhere.They were all very persistent.Not something you want when going for a meal and a quiet drink.A lot offer free drinks but as soon as you get in the bar they magically disapear.Also watch out for the people selling Fruit on the beach.They give you it and then expect 25 euros!!

This holiday is catered toward's 20 year olds wanting to party.Soo I wouldn't recommend to couples !Try Mariachis (Small Mexican restaurant off a side street on the strip.Lovely food.Costs around 40 Euros for 2 starters,2 mains and a bottle of wine.Also have family entertainment in the BCM aquare such as bands, dancers and hypnotists.

booked this holiday for a 2 week break,first night crowds of teenagers come back to the apartments drunk singing swearing this was the norm apparently two weeks later i would confirm it was the truth,so hire a fan shut all the doors and try to get some sleep,no they then bang on the apartment doors or telephone your room number in the small hours they call it fun.reps were useless didnt want to know oh yeh they would sell you a trip.

got up first morning went to breakfast loads of lads in reception with police,the police had passports and a grey bag with a large knife in it,somebody had been stabbed in the leg during a fight in the apartments.the strip is excellent fun at night loads to do,loads of nice restaurants,pirates is a must along with western world water park.

so many teenagers ruling the place night security had no chance, between 3am and 6am is a nightmare ,the rep had so many complaints from famillies they put a zero tolerance sign up one morning about noise and behaviour,but by the time the next arrivals had come in the sign had conveniently dissapeared.i think skytours/thomson should reconsider mixing freestyle with famillies because money dont grow on trees and we at this fiesta sahara were classed as the overspill from the other apartments in the fiesta group.

have just come back from magaluf and would definitely recommend it to anyone going away with their teenage children. There is plenty for all ages. Avoid the main strip at night unless you wnat to be dragged into every bar, our daughters were physically picked up and carried into bars so we had to follow. Drinks vary in prices - a lot of the 2 for 1 is a rip off.

We liked the Bacos bar which was on the main square, good music and then a live tribute band at 12 every night. We let the kids go off and felt they could find us easily there. Everyone really friendly, have had the best laugh ever. Dont go here for a rest we have come back shattered and need another holiday to recover.
Benny Hill bar is good for families just up from Sahara and is cheap.

For food, Tom Browns is good for cheap and cheerful, clean and friendly staff, bit like a cafe but we always cleared our plates. Crusoes is another really good value restaurant - popular, is on the main promenade by the beach but good cheap food.

Just returned from a weeks hols in the fiesta sahara and i must say i will not be visiting again in a hurry don`t get me wrong we paid £500 for the four of us for the week and for that we made the most of it.

We have visited Majorca twice in the past but have always stayed in Palma Nova which in my opinion is a much nicer resort and certainly more family friendly,this hotel was just full of hens  stags and groups of youths,i myself like a laugh but some of these were drunk even by the pool in the day and did nothing but swear and be loud.Talking about the pool if you like to spend your day by the pool like us (our youngest hates the beach)then i suggest you get up early and get down there because every day before 9am all the sunbeds(there isn`t that many for the size of the hotel) had towels on them and this is in May not peak season.

The apartments were not a bad size but floors were filthy no sooner would you get out the shower your feet would be dirty again,there was also sockets hanging off the walls.We were on the 3rd floor overlooking the pool and above the entertainment which was nice in the evenings on the balcony having a drink and listening to the music below,entertainment finished about 12 so didn`t disturb kids to much.The kids entertainment was great we were always back for mini disco which the kids loved.On the plus side the hotel itself is ideally placed which is probably why it attracts so many younger people,the supermarket next to the hotel is very reasonable as is the spar just up the road- beware of the women just past the spar if you have a daughter with long hair EVERYDAY she had asked if my kids wanted there hair braided and didn`t like to take no for a answer.

When it came to food we didn`t venture to far as we have a very fussy eater and once we found somewhere she liked we stuck to it,we had our breakfast at The Happy House on the beachfront and evening meal at Tom Browns this restaurant was fab they provided the kids with colouring while they waited for there food and gave them a free game of crazy golf afterwards which is right next to the restaurant.

We went on 2 trips booked through the reps first we went to Marineland which we were told there was a free bus, got on the free bus going but the bus didn`t turn up coming back and ended up paying for a taxi back but all in all a great day out.We also went to Western Water park which we have visited in the past as it is a great day out you could probably walk there is approx 20mins with kids for the hotel.

All in all not a bad holiday but will be visiting Palma Nova in the future!

This was a last minute deal that cost me and my girlfriend only £99 for the week, that included flights, accomodation and transfers. For this price, what we got was excellent. The apartments were basic but easily liveable for the week, and the resort was clean and tidy, but extremely quiet. 

As we went in january we were expecting magaluf to be quiet (and this is how we like it, not into loud music and single s*x groups every where), but we didn't expect it to be as quiet as it was. There was hardly a person in sight-we called it the 'ghost town'. It was fine though, a nice break to get away from the stresses of University for a week. Not much was open, just benny hills, jokers and another few bars. Macdonalds was shut, burger king was shut, kfc was shut....so you get the point anyway, it's quiet, VERY quiet! A bar next but one to benny hills called 'goodfellows' is definately the place to go in magaluf. The owners Steph and Adam are very friendly, the drinks are fairly priced and the food is excellent. Also, another good place to eat is Tom Browns-there are 3 on the island but only one was open at this time of year. 

The beach at magaluf and palma nova is beautiful and the sea is so clear that you can see for miles. Unfortunately, because it was january we couldn't make the most of it because of the weather. It wasn't cold (as it was in England, -4 at one stage 'ha ha') but it wasn't hot either, about 20 degrees. It was jus nice and sunny. We caught the bus one day to the city of palma, it was amazing-make sure you head to the catheral because all around this area is lively and very nice to look at. 

Overall a great holiday, pefect for a cheap break.

Well all i can say is WOW. I was told by thomson this was a family hotel. How wrong can they be. When you call them up they will actually say do not go, but when you say you were sent they say something else.
Hotel ok, but the sx mad 18 to 30 year old larger drinking lads and lasses stop at nothing. drunks asleep on stairwells, vomit stench, cndoms ( for those who give a dame ) noise until all hours. young lads exposing themselves in front of anyone. same with the girls. if I were 25 ish I would recommend it, but as i,m a boring old one with children I have to say  STOP. DO NOT ENTER THIS HOTEL.
BEWARE YOUR CHILDREN WILL SEE THING THEY SHOULD NOT SEE UNTIL THEY ARE ADULT.

Just returned from holiday and it was the best we have had in Majorca. Weather was excellent for the first 3 days then it became windy and cooler.
The hotel was great for the kids. The bar in the hotel was great. 'Craig the entertainer' needs a Gold medal!!! The hand full of kids that were there, enjoyed every minute. I asked them if they wanted to go to another bar and they refused because he had them hooked. The bar prices were reasonable. I am hooked myself now, with Thomson hotels, just because of the entertainment and activities for the kids.

The indoor pool was excellent. The outdoor pool was freezing, didn't see anyone brave enough to go in.

I would return again in the low season.

Hi just got back from the fiesta sahara it was half term week. After booking a late deal I read a lot of reviews and left feeling a bit worried. sorry magaluff dosn`t belong to the 18-30`s. my mother and I toook the kids and had a great time loads of bars and resturants geared up for familys. The Fiesta Sahara was full of kids on half term.

The beach  was beatufull and the bars on the sea front was rearly cheap a pint of lager was  about a £1.00 and an english breakfast was around  £1.50 and and average evening meal was £15.00 to £20.00 for 4 meals and drinks.

The hotel was good, clean and the staff were friendily.  The hotel bar we avoided it was more expensive than out and about. we thought about the half bored option before we went but after reading the menus we were glad we didn`t if you have got a fussy 6 year old like me stick to tom browns reasturant either on the beach or in the center.

The pool was great although a bit cold and there was a life gaurd on duty all day.
All in all a great holiday.

Don't know where to start!!!! Maga is amazing and the Sahara just makes ur hol great!
Don't listen 2 these folk that say its shi te etc!  Its clean, huge pool n the maids clean and tidy if u want them 2.  Basically its full of young folk up 4 having a laugh and making loadsa noise!

Warning - There is a security guard that tries 2 make some etc money on the sly - his game plan is....he will knock ur door/ stroke chase u back 2 ur room, produce a recipt in SPANISH! & try n charge u a laundry bill n claim that u spilt a drink on him????!!! Aye ok Peodro!

So dont give Peadro any pocket money! We gave him 10 Euros (he wanted 50!) cos he said we were gettin chucked out the hotel!  Anyways the next night we realised that he did this all the time! Total con! Needless to say...he didnt come back to 527!!

Loved - Alex's (Indie side!), Paddy's, Bonkers,Coyoty's, Boomerangs, Banana's!...What a random mix! Lol ....dont go out till after 11....go 2 whatever pubs n  that u like but the clubs r really best between 3 - 6!  Esp cos all the workers n that r coming in towards the end! ;) 

Loadsa good deals on drink - 5 euros = 2 drinks, 2 shots n a pitcher 2 share! That's why every1 is totally wrecked all the time! And kinda explains our 1st nyt! lol and Pints of Rushnikov & Redbull! Immense!

Pr's r great....they r just up for havin a laugh & some banter!  Folk say they r pushing bt they aint that bad honestly!

Basically Maga is the best place ever, cant w8 2 go again next summer & If ur gonna go, u need 2 go to the sahara!

We got back from our holiday in Magaluf nearly 2 weeks ago & it was the best holiday we've ever had!  We were worried about going to the Fiesta Sahara after reading the reviews on here as we're not really party people, just a young couple looking to have a break from everyday home life, get a tan and have some fun - we certainly got that alright and despite what you may have read, we saw no sign of any break-ins and were only woken 2 nights out of 14 by some rowdy lads somewhere down the corridor from us.  Our phone didn't ring in our room and the corridors were never messy like described in some of the reviews on this site.  The rooms are very spacious and sleep 4 and there is plenty of storage space.  The maid service isn't the best but you do frequently get clean towels.

There is only one word to describe the night-time entertainment at the hotel - excellent!  There's something different every night and something that everyone will enjoy.  The best nights were Mr & Miss Fiesta and battle of the sexes.  The Fiesta reps were responsible for the night-time entertainment and they were all brilliant!  The reception staff were also very friendly and helpful.  Unfortunately we can't say the same for the Thomsons reps who we never saw all holiday!

We would especially recommend Magaluf to people who are really into their food, as almost all restaurants have a large variety of foods and everywhere serves big portions!  We found Ladies Tavern to be the best as it had a big menu, the portions were very large and it was fairly cheap.  Happy House was also very good and the staff are very friendly!  If you want a roast dinner while in Magaluf then The Cottage is definitely the place to go!  The Moon Bar is also good, especially for breakfast but the waiters are extremely grumpy and not at all nice!  A lot of people went to Tom Browns but we only went once and weren't too impressed compared to everywhere else.  If you're a fan of McDonalds, you have to be careful when ordering because they give you super-size meals unless you specifically ask for a different size.

The pool at the Sahara is very big although it is freezing.  The sun beds are readily available before 12pm & we would recommend you take your own drinks down to the pool area because we paid 6.20 euros for a fanta and a pint of stella.

Unless you can find a cheap phone in the resort, don't use them because it cost us 6.50 euros for 2 minutes!  Use the internet instead which only costs 2 euros for 30 minutes or 3 euros for an hour!

Finally, you cannot visit Magaluf without going to the aquapark!  This was the best water park we had ever been to and had lots of brilliant attractions, including the Boomerang, which is more vertical than it looks!

We're going to Turkey next year but we will definitely consider visiting Magaluf again some time soon!

Just got back from a weeks holiday in the Fiesta Sahara and had the best girls holiday ever!

Read loads of reviews in here before we went and was a bit worried about rooms being burgled etc... Get a safe and you'll be fine. Just lock your stuff away for 10 euros for the week. We never had any problems and didn't here of any while we were there.

When we pulled up to the apartments, was a bit worried as they look a bit shabby but the rooms are fine. You'll have dirty feet all week cos the floors were filthy but apart from that the rooms were quite big. Could have done with a full length mirror to check your outfit, but we just used the one in the lift as we went out.

The pool area was really nice and big but couldn't always get a sunbed which was a bit annoying! The pool bar was ok tho, could get a drink but its probably cheaper to go into the supermarket which is like 2 seconds from the pool.

I wouldn't get the Freestyle package that the reps offer you. We did it it was £120 for the week and seemed like you got loads but you didn't really! Most nights, you could get in the clubs free anyway - was a risk we had to take!

Pirates was absolutely out of this world!!! The atmosphere was great, abot 500 people from Freestyle marched down there and it was packed inside. Everyone's shouting and cheering - right good laugh but the food and drink was pants!

Water park is ok - we didn't get the extra hour tho so was a bit disappointed! Catamaran is a good laugh. The DVD of us being filmed all week was really good to look at when we came home!

Wouldn't advise families to go to the Sahara tho - I don't understand why families booked to go to Magaluf tho... Would you book a holiday for you and the kids to go to San Antonio?!

The phone in the rooms rings all night and you get plenty of blokes banging on the doors at all hours but its all a giggle.

Would recommend Tom Browns - class food, really cheap. I think BCM is the best night out. 20 euros, drink as much as you can and get loads of free gifts. All the bars and clubs are good, PR's are well tasty!

Worst part of the holiday was getting on the coach to come home :o(

Rite nexta the strip n the beach n BCM n mcdonalds! Freestyle was great, defo buy the Freestyle package at the welcome morning, we went on all the trips, booze cruise, waterpark, BCM, Pirates! 90%LADS 10%GIRLS! LOVED IT!!

Hey just got back from fiesta sahara and what can i say it was awesome!!! 

great for young peole up for a laugh! i would not recommend this hotel to the oldies + families! The pool is lush and very big, but get down there early in the morning for a bed! The only problem i had was the rooms, they were too hot so i slept out on the balcony every night and would wake up with pizza slices all over me! nice one boys! After reading the reivews on here before i went i was a bit worried about the break ins but we had no problems, all rooms had a safe and just make sure you lock your balcony doors and double lock the main door into ur room! Everything u needed was on your door step! BCM - 23 euros free bees and free drink! cant go wrong! i recommend Tom Browns for food it was lush and also cheap! Mc donalds, pizza hut and burger king are right outside the hotel to! Bar 29 across from BCM to was good and the welsh PR'S were great too! I went with FREESTYLE and I would not recommend going with the reps and paying £145 quid to do their activities! its a rip off! they try telling you that u get a free pass to get u into loads of night clubs but it only gets u in 5 and u only got to pay 10 euros and u can go in them all! The pirates is a must, it was awesome and a good atmosphere! 

I would definately go there again and im guna book up soon to go there next year!

My/Our Holiday Opinion: 

The Fiesta Sahara apartments are just amazing. Around 1000 young party animals out to have a good time give this hotel a great atmosphere. The rooms are very clean, spacious and well equipped with a large balcony great for playing poker and watching ur mates(Krissy,Daz)as they run naked around the poolside getting chased by the security guard.

The pool must be the best in magaluf its huge and never overcrowded. The staff are very nice and towels etc are changed 2 or 3 times a week. Be careful though beds, walls and doors etc can be broken very easily and you would have to pay out big time. A tip though if you do break a bed, wall and door like we did make the most of ur telephone like my mate Mcgloin. He rang around random rooms until he managed to persuade some helpful ladies to use make up to make it look like he had a black eye. He then used his acting skills started crying, went to reception told them he had being beaten up and mugged when entering his room. He told them of the damage to the room from the attack and we got away with it all, lol.
Also the lifs are a bit dodgy so going mental in them when out of your face isnt a good idea the lift will malfunction. But dont worry theres a guy there called JESUS who saved us so ur in safe hands.

The resort itself is quality, Magaluf is so friendly and the pubs and clubs are some of the best. The strip is great must try Chaplins, office, mulligans and boomerangs. The drink is very cheap loads of good offers. For food must go to Tom Browns 7 euros for a 3 cousre meal plus mini golf for 2 euro cant go wrong.

Also must go see Pirates Uncut! best night of the hol, the waterparks are good fun too. all in all magaluf is ace and im off back again this year unfortunately not staying at the sahara though.

this hotel was boss. 1st girly holiday without parents and didnt realy no wat to expect. if your goin to get drunk every nite meet boys lol and dance all nite this is the place to go. DO NOT exoect to sleep in this place as from 3-6 am everyone is cummin bac in and makin a lot of noise. ask for a pool veiw room as we sed thaty we wer not bothered about a veiw and ended up looking out on to a rusty boat an kittens fightin every time we looked of the balcany lol. 

as for the night life make it a must to go to BCM's it was brilliant. the foam party's are amazin! make sure ya go! Also Crystals is a good bar. the music is good all the old stuff and the new stuff that u can dance to all the time. The Red Lion is a good bar as well lol cnt member much aba that one. an car wash an bannana's is great lol. BCM'c u pay 20-25 eruos to get in ya gt ll ya free stuff an ya drinks are paid for all night like ya vodca an ya spirits got to pay for wkd'd an that in there but we didnt bother. the water park was good as well.

as for the boys in the sahara there fine an out number thegirls a lot.  its a ded freindly atmosphere as well.

When we arrived it was about 16:00hrs it was red hot and the pool area looked busy. We took our suitcases up to the 5th floor in the lift which could only fit about 2 people in. When we got in out room it was basic but clean. The pool area was dirty full or empty cans and cigerettes there wasnt anyone over the age of 30 it was full of young groups of the same s*x. They played music around the pool area very loud all day i don think they knew the meaning of relaxing and been quite. The night life in magaluf was good however you got ripped off with watered down drinks. the beach was the best thing about the holiday as it was clean and spacious.

well were do a start.. the sahara wis gd n its got a gd size pool pat from we didny hav a pool view!we were told it wis for familys really - bit id say it wisny wis mare groups a young peep .. n mostly guys lol!n its near 2 most things 2 pubs start at the end of the street n yer aboot a 10min walk fro the water parks n aboot a 5min walk from beach!oo n mind sign up for the freestyle when ye get there prob save ye alsorts a money ye get yer pass 2 the dancins n when ye go in 1 ye get stamped and ye can leave 1 n go to the others n get in for nuthin n ye get passes fur the water park n aww at as well n all different this bits its well wurth it!

We didny stay in the hotel at nite - we would start off at jokers nearly every nite its just round the corner from the sahara - its gd so it is n always busy too!en uve got devils bar lol well well well lol .. this pubz awright as well bit every time we wur in it the police always cam in n they wur always at war with the pub nxt to it mite of had sumhing to do with the fact there drinks were only 1euro lol!ats just at the bottom of the strip - oo n watch oot fur the PR's there soo annoyin lol there everywere tryin to pull ye in to pubz n givin ye free drink ull be goin mad by the end of yer holiday lol .. 

mulligans was gd to at wis up the top of the strip wis just like aww dance music n at en across the rd fae at uve got Bananas lol wis amazin in here lol we wur in here nearly everynite lol n its full a scottish n welsh lol wis amazin man n ye buy 1 drink n ye get 1 free!but stay away from the bouncers as they dnt care boy or girl they just leather ye there and then n half the time its for nuthin!bit there big guys lol!ull notice em anyways there big sweaty hings lol!n mxt door to bananas is car wash - ats aww yer 60s 70s stuff bit its awright if yer in to at stuff!en just down from em you've got poco locoz its like a pub/dancin n ye get yer free bucket of your choice lol n free shots too!we always went there if we went out with freestyle!n bcm ats 2 mins from the hotel its 2 big but lol we went to the foam party n it wis amazin lol ye get yer free stuff in there anol n its a free bar from 12-6 thought it was alrite bit nuthin amazin far 2 big!

theres other dancins as well like tokio joes a didny like it in er wis aww yer R n B music n er wis a couple more bit id say bananas was the best!oo n defo go to the pirates lol its gd aswell but make sure u go to the late show its a gd nite yer rep will prob tell u about it but anyhow!

Fiesta Sahara is great, there is bingo and live entertainment on every night, must see hypnotist show, Sword and Stone comedy show. The swimming pool is medium sized and is quite warm. theres a games arcade and and 4 pool table 1 Euro 50 per game, the supermarket is quite cheep 90 cents for a can of Irn-Bru.Whats local: McDonalds, Burger King, Pizza Hut, KFC, Tom Browns, Western Waterpark, Aqualand, Marineland, Go-Karts, pirates, BCM and all the clubs and shops.

There are also lots of trips to Palma , Santa Ponca ect. There are hundreds of boat trips, i recomend you try the Attration boat trip. I recomend you try : - Tom Browns, Great food, and you get a free photo taken.
- Attraction Boat trip, fun crew, nice meal.
- Mrs Doyles, live music on every night, what a musician can play everything keyboard, guitar, banjo, violin.Great atmosphere.
- Happy House, Great food, friendly staff
- Alcatraz , next to Burger King, Lovely Big Portions.
- Go-Karts, big track, 10 euro for 5 mins (more like 15 mins)

After reading mixed reports on the hotel we where a bit dubious,but in the end had nothing to worry about.The rooms where spacious,clean and the staff and reps where friendly and helpful.The resort was not as busy as in peak time but was ideal for a couple with two kids.

The entertainment in the bars was very good and the pirates show is a must see.Also go and see paul proto the hypnotist in the magaluf showbar around the corner from the hotel it is a good laugh.

All in all we had a great time and will be going back.

I was a bit worried after booking this as I read some of the reviews on here. I need not have worried as the Sahara was great. The rooms were clean and spacious, although lacked air con. This however was not a problem in April. I had expected it to be more 18-30, but it was family orientated, with evening entertainment suitable for everyone. The Fiesta entertainment staff (Leona and Sarah) were great with the kids. I loved Leona doing the bingo, her pronunciation of "Tirty Tree" will make me smile for a long time to come.

Magaluf itself was ok. I personally prefer Palma Nova, but it had everything you could ask for. The beach is nice. Plenty of eating places (Tom Browns was great, I highly recoomend the chicken curry!). The only annoyance was the time share sellers stopping you time and time again, just tell them you don't have a credit card and suddenly they don't bother you.

All in all a good holiday in a good hotel, although I think it could be a bit of a different story in the hight of the summer with the 18-30 brigade, both in the hotel and in Magaluf itself.

My/Our Holiday Opinion: 

Had a brilliant time! The hotel was nice, nothing fancy but had everything you needed. Rooms were clean and the maids were nice, if they came to clean your room and you weren't ready, they would come back later. Oh the only thing was our fridge wasnt working, it kept freezing everything; water, chocolate, beans, butter!!

While we were there, the outside pool was having maintenence work done on it, repainting & tiling. So although we only got to use it for 3 days out of the 14, it will now be nice, clean and fresh for anyone going. However while we did have the use of the pool, we only went in once because it was freezing!
The reps were ok, there everyday in the hotel in the morning and evening, so if you need anything they just point you in the right direction.

The entertainment staff for the hotel are brilliant. They have loads of energy and really friendly. There are loads of activities on during the day, something every hour. Oh even a couple live there who specialise in short mat bowling. At night there is a kids disco, then bingo, then a quiz and then the main feature. The miss fiesta competition is a must see!

The hotel it's self is situated in a great place. Less than 200m from burger king, pizza hut, mcdonalds and kfc! The beach is a straight 2 minute walk. The main strip is less than 10 minutes walk away. However on the first night we got absolutely wasted and got lost, and it took us over 2 hours to get back!
Loads of little touristy shops around, but the shop keepers go on at you, about how great the prices are, so beware you could get stuck.

We didnt go on the main strip that many times, we normally just chilled in the hotel bar or benny hills bar across the road. Beware the hotel bar is quite expensive. But crystals bar was good, friendly staff, and if your cheeky like us, just ask for free shots and you get them. County bar is good for watching football, according to my b/f!!
Benny hills was a good place to chill, they give you little games and puzzles to play while your at the bar. Beware of kids who will show you up because they can do it and you cant!!

Food places - we really liked tom browns. the bbq chicken dinner is really good. oh and the veg curry. Also crusoes's was nice. the thai chicken curry was fab! pizza hut was good but expensive. on average tea was about 14 euros for 2 eating a main meal and non alco drinks.

The pirates is definately worth a see! although i wouldn't recommend quarter deck. you pay more money for seats that id say are worse than paying less. if you go quarter deck you are close up to the stage but you have to sit at a funny angle to see properly. If you go quarter deck you get champagne, but it's the cheap stuff and if go normal you get wine, and the wine is better than the champagne. The only good thing about quarter deck was that the q was shorter, but even then the  normal q went down fast enough. we didnt take a camera as the reps told us not to but i really wish i had. Everyone else had them and nobody minded. pirates is a 5 min walk round the corner from the hotel. the show its self is amazing. some of the stunts are breath taking. plus there is loads of funny bits. the pirates try to get the audience to interact and they do it well. i would definately go again. the food is ok, nothing spectacular. just dont pay for quarter deck.

marineland was good, got see loads of animals, however we got there at 10am and by 1pm we had seen everything. oh and the food is really crap and over priced. cost about 1euro 50cents for a lion bar. taxi to marineland was 6 euros and back was 7 euros. not to expensive but could be if going with a big group or kids.
the walk to palma nova is about 1/2 an hour. we just started walking one day and before we knew it we were in palma nova.

the weather was ok for april. during the week it was great and sunny and hot, but as soon as it got to friday it poured it down and then on monday was fine again. that happened both weeks. temp got to about 22 at the most but it was warm enough to lie around in. walking around we got burnt not realising how hot it was.
i would definately go back, however at easter time it is really family and couple focused. i would go back in summer with friends but i would not recommend taking kids in summer.
p.s dont feed the pigeons on your balcony as they start to come back every day, as we found out.

this hotel is not for families and to our horror families are in it.how do thomson expect 28 men to behave.banging the wrong door at 4/5/6 am really upsets kids sleep and no sleep is what this hotel is about.someone did 1 in the pool ,and what is chucked about the balconies you can imagine.if you want a crazy holiday with no sleep this is ok,but caring what effect we had on people wanting to chill stopped us enjoying our holiday slightly.
if you want to party like we did, this is the place to stay.if you need sleep forget it ,you wont get any between 4 and 7am.
the music here is dire,rubbish, and worse.

other than this,superb holiday.

Booked as a late deal.  The weather in November was sunny, but not very warm, you will need a jumper!  Most of the resort had closed up for the winter, hardly any of the clubs were open.  The resort did take on a different slant in the winter, as it becomes a resort for the over 60's.  If you are looking for a fun-filled party holiday, Magaluf in November isn't for you! 
The apartments were clean, but tatty and a bit dated in places!  The outside pool was too cold and the indoor pool is tiny!

Overall not a holiday i will remember for ever!!!

This was my 3rd time in Magaulff and the Fiesta Sahara Apartments were great.  We went on our 1st family holiday together in years and had an excellent time.

Apartments where spacious and liveable for the wk.  Maids gave us clean towels every other day.  Air conditioning in my dads room was great, but ours wasn't as great.  In saying that though, it was bearable in September, but don't know what it would be like in July or August!

Surprised at the weather as didn't actually depart until 19th september for a wk, but was between 28 to 32degrees, so we were pleasantly surprised.

As for places to eat and drink.  There are 3 Tom Brown restaraunts and all 3 are great - must try the lasagne - delicious!
Also really liked 'Lisas Bar', best mexican fajitias i've tried in a long while.   Portofino steakhouse and Lady Tavern also good.

Be careful with the PR's deals and buying drink.  Most offers are buy one get one free, but the free one seems to be watered down.  We left 'Alexs Bar' one night after 10 sex on the beach cocktails and numerous shots and walked out of their sober & on top of that their drink was really expensive.
Lush or Revolution where great starting points as 4 of us went out and got 2 cocktails each, 3 shots of aftershock each and a jug of cocktail between us, all for 12euros - can't be bad to that!!

We left BCM to our last night and wished that we had gone there everynight.  Only 20euros in (approx. £14), get free goodies and free drink all night long.  This worked out cheaper than doing the pub crawl thing!

All the ladies must go to Palma for a bit of shopping!  Also recommend the waterpark.  Great for all ages.

In all, fantastic holiday, weather, places to eat/drink.  Definately go!!!  Enjoy!!

omg this holiday was off the hook, me and four other lads just having it large magaluf style. 

The hotel was excellent the rooms were great not that we were in them that much,one prob maybe the poor air conditioning so it mayb worthwhile forking out for a fan, but we hacked it out, watch out for those curtain rails in the bedrooms as they aint the best ours fell off and we cudnt get it back on. the staff were alright the maids came twice a week however we were often crashed out so they just left us bedsheets rather than putttin them on quite annoyin !! 

Newho the hotel is in excellent location just down the road from mc d's burger king and pizza hut! its dirt cheap and its prob cheaper to eat out than to buy from the spar thats next door!THe clubs in maga are outstanding we had some great pub crawls tryin to visit them all ya wanna make sure u take a visit to alexandras were theres some live music to start off the night from the resident performers john and kaz(living legends) all the way up the main strip is bar after bar all id say are worth visiting the 5 in 1 club pass is a definite! nuthin like seeing a bit Pat sharp from fun house (luvly)! Pat pat pat pat pat pat patty sharp! yeo Bcm is another must visit! just make sure ya remember where the ole hotel is when ure crawling back in the wee hours! and watch out for those big stone balls on the paths omg two years in a row. 

The security guards at the hotel can b quite strict but ya can just have a great laff wif them too taking the mickey outta them, one time they came into our room and took the stereo coz it was too loud but we got it back in the morn, they like to fine ppl easy aswell so try not to break nethin.unlike us wif our game: - who can throw the glass jugs the furtherest off the balcony,(not one for the faint hearted) the entertainment in the hotel is alrite i spose but the pr ppl at the hotel will try their hardeest to get you to go on their booze cruise things we worked it out and it aint that much dearer to do urself, 

Magaluf has so much more to offer with the karting just round the corner and the two water parks down at the beach theres loadsa stuff to do so if ya can get yaself outta bed during the day ya aint gonna b left bored! THis hotel certainly aint for ppl lookin for a quiet holiday so if ure up for a totally banging holiday at a gud hotel then goto  fiesta sahara! im goin back wif the lads this summer 25th august -8th sept 2005 so if ne girls headin out then and wanna meet up wif some northern ireland fellas get in contact wif me speak to ya soon and ya neva know cud be talkin to ya in magaluffff!!!!!

we stayed at fiesta sahara 4 a week from 30 july till 7 aug. there was 4 of us in one appartment, the appartments were very hot as there is no air conditioning. so we ended up sleeping on the balcony or with the doors wide open as we were on the third floor. the beds were really clean and the bathroom towels were changed regulary. although the maids dont come every day so put your towels on the balcony to dry.
the kitchen facilities were good, although we never really used them as mcdonalds, kfc, burger king and pizza hut are right next to the hotel. literally a 5 min walk.

the pool was great, it was lovely and clean and massive!!! although beware of some people thinking there funny belly flopping into the pool whilst your trying to relax on a lilo. it was so annoying...
there are loads of people with such big mouths!!!!!!!!! but dont have none of it, they fink they can wake u up at like the crack of dawn shouting, but fight back by banging the mop on the ceiling. oh and beware the room phone constently rings as people on the other side of the hotel can work out the number of your room. its a laugh tho, nothing to be worried about.

the nightlife is wicked!!!! the strip is great and full of fit PRS, who drag u into there clubs and give you loadsa free drink. we didnt spend half as much as what we took. BCM is the biggest club you will ever see, it is 20 euros to get in and includes free drink all night.....
although most drink in clubs is really watered down, so drink in your room before you go out.
the best bar to go too is crystal bar, it is full of fit blokes!!! we met loadsa essex boys in there & still speak 2 em now.

i advise not to do pirates as it is a waste of money, the reps beg u to do it but all it is a pirate show with mingin food and drink. although some of the pirates r well fit.......

bommerangs is also a good night, plays great music, it feels like we were back in romford! carwash is also a great laugh as it plays all 70s and 80s.

if your a smoker dont worry about buying fags, as BCM and a few others give out free boxes of 20 benson and hedges silver every nite.

overall it was great holiday considering as it was our first. i would definately go back and would stay in the sahara again, no problem. i would recommend it to any1 whos young and up 4 a laugh.

Went on holiday with 10 friend but unfortunatly we couldnt all stay in the same apartments so 4 of us stayed in the Fiesta Sahara and the other 6 in the Fiesta Jungla.However the 6 staying at the Jungla didnt like it at all and found it quite scruffy and dirty.

We had a really great two week holiday in Magaluf and the apartments were great near the beach and shops.There are loads of places to eat near the apartments but i cant remember the names!
The apartments are clean with everything you need for your holiday.

Ive read on here that people have had trouble with the security at the apartments and had things stolen.But the two weeks we were there we didnt here of anything like that infact we found security to be really helpful and friendly.
When in Magaluf i would recommend people tom go to BCM, Chaplins and Boomerangs.

Hey! Went to magaluf in august 2004, stayed at the Fiesta Sahara. Had the best 2 weeks of my life! 

The hotel is amazin and the resort itself is banging, the clubs are the dogs! Alexandras is the best bar in the world, live music every night and pints of vodka and redbull at only 5 euro! the perfect start to the night.

The pool is good and is quite large. the place to be is in the clubs dancing and pulling the females! BCM and Boomerang are the best clubs to be. Tokyo joes is also quite good for R&B.We just booked again for 25th august-> 8th september 2005! Any girls out there goin at the same time feel free to contact me or reply on this site!

I stayed in the Fiesta Sahara apartments in August.I found the apartments clean and spacious with good air conditioning.The pool was huge with loads of sun beds.The maids were really friendly and changed our towels and linen regularly.The security staff were also really friendly.I would definatly recommend these apartments to young people going to Magaluf.

We stayed in the sahara for 1wk and did not sleep at all!!!
This is a great place for partying until the early hours.
If you are looking for a quiet place, do not go to the sahara!!
Great for large groups and single people.
Pool was the best part of hotel.
maid service and reception was a complete joke its quicker and easier to repair things yourself.
Definately reccommend magalluf but suggest using a better and cleaner hotel.

Magaluf is the new Ibiza people! I had the most amazing time on my first holiday away from my mum and dad. The resort is so busy and full of life. There is everything you need within a 5 minute walking distance, 24hr burger king,KFC and kebab shops. 

The night life is aimed at the young but there are so many different pubs for the whole family in the resort itself. The Fiesta Sahara is located within 2minutes of everything you need and the reps there are so helpful and always seem to be around which is so handy. 

The appartments are great, cleaned every 2 days and the staff are very friendly. The pool is one of the biggest in Magaluf and its kept very clean with very clear depth signs. I would suggest any young people going on holiday to go to Magaluf and stay in the Sahara!!

what to say about the fiesta sahara. well i'll start off by saying every1 we delt with whilst there were totaly useless. our room along with 7 others were broken into and we had passports, money, phones stolen. the security is a joke and then our rep said it was our own fault for being robbed, dont even get me started with the police.  magaluf is a quality place i would go back again but wouldnt step near the fiesta sahara.

This was the best holiday that I have ever been on. I normally want to come home after a week but after 11 days all I wanted to do was stop.

When we got there we joined freestyle and it was well worth it. In your package you got bar crawls club entries a booze cruise, waterpark trip (which is gr8 coz you get food n drink vouchers n an hour just freestyle), and that most amazin nite, the pirate show, unlimted booze n food, fit pirates and a show n party to die for, you will not relise how amazing this is until you experience it.

The apartment were clean and basic, and the fan really just circled hot air around the room. The pool is gr8 but not many sunbeds.

Overall magaluf is amazing i will be going back again, the best holiday ever. And choose this hotel if you want to party coz you wont be gettin much sleep! The parties go on all night and the everyone there is up for avin a good time.

Cant wait for this years holiday to come round.

The holiday was buzzing, lots to do (get pi**ed)and listen to the beefy holiday rep ranting in your ear at the crack of dawn,then they have the cheek to fine ya 100 quid for f*rting!!!
it is definately for young en's wanting to party all night, but beware of pedro and his sidekick bob!the breakfasts are free, just don't pay!
lots of food places near and a short way from all the pubs n clubs. mcdonalds next door and the beach bout 5 min away! definately recommend it. get ya' sens off!

Well what else can i say except fantastic, the apartments were perfectly situated. They were about 10 mins away from the strip, 5mins away from the beach which was one of the best beaches i've seen. they are also positioned just around a corner to the massive BCM. if you don't have a substantial amount of money then this is your best bet. you pay 20 euros most nights some nights were 15 or 17 euros and you would get all your drinks free. also if you wanted the likes of wkd which is imported you only paid 1 euro which is the equivelent to 70p.

The apartments were basic but very clean and well supplied. the maids came every other day with fresh linen and towels and they would leave them for you if you were asleep..which we usually were. they had fans to help you breathe and we had a pool view which made our holiday. if u don't request it you may end up with a view of a hotel wall or on the other side a view of sand and dust plain. The pool was great it was big and well maintained. 

There wasn't much entertainment there but it didn't matter in peak season as the apartments were crowded with the young and lively who would go out to the bars and clubs about 11 and stroll in between 3 and 6am. These apartments and the resort itself is definitely not for families and couples looking for relaxation because trust me you will get woken up youngsters shouting across balconies and jumping in pools when there not meant to. But to me and my friends it was the perfect holiday for our age, we just wanted to have a laugh and have fun.

If you have a problem eating out for proper meals and your very fussy which i am, mcdonalds and burger king are yards away from the fiesta sahara its on the same street on the corners. Also pizza hut and kfc are just a bit further but not that much further. If you don't have a problem in restaurants then the best places to go are lady tavern and tom browns.

The best bars and clubs to go to are tokio joes, fusion, boomerang, which are 3 of the clubs you can get an offer with the mcp pass. but you have to get that with the freestyle package which is actually a rip off. you can get the package from your reps the day after you get there and it includes a boose cruise which was the best thing in the deal, you get to stop off in the med and go for a dip at a cove. they offer pizza and provide vodka with either lemon or orange it was great to catch your tan. 

the other qualities in the package is the pirate show which is a must, fabulous. also you get to go the popcorn and foam parties in the big BCM. go in there before 12 and hand in your ticket and you recieve lots of free stuff like t-shirts, hats, boxies, neckalaces, sunglasses etc. its great in there including the dancers fwooar!

Overall the resort holds everything a partier would want and don't hold back if u know wot i mean av it large.

OH MY GOD!
what can i say! clearly the best week of our lifes! if ur after a crazy holiday, with lots of booze,guys and partying with little sleep magaluf is the place to be!!!

cant complain about the hotel, very clean and tidy, maybe not at 5 in the morning when your crawling back to bed, but besides that not bad! maids were excellent, they cum in mop round u, change the towels and leave! u dont need to get out of bed!

great pool, not many sun beds though, as it gets really busy by mid day.

we went 2 the beach most days, 5 min walk from the hotel, beware of the PR men, pull ur bikin tops of if u dont stop and talk 2 them! lots of water sports and bars and cafes off the beach.

please go 2 pirates!!! ull have the best night ever, probably best in a bigger group, u wud of lost ur voice by the end of the nite, show and atmosphere was amazing!

reps will advise you to book all ur activities with them, for a cheaper price, DONT its a rip off! we found that out wen we were skint by the end of the week.

booze cruze was rubbish, free coctails was made up of cheap vodka and fizzy orange! thats it! and a slice of mingin pizza was 2 euro! good music, but not worth what we payed.

waterpark is worth a go! good laugh, cheeky spainsh lads push in the queues though! grrrr if u do book with ur reps, u get another hour wen everyone goes home.

club wise, our best places include BCM u get cool free stuff! carwash and boomarangs. but the whole stip was like nothing uve ever seen!

we would all definetly go back to magaluf, ull have a wikid time! and the fiesta sahara is an ideal location full of youngsters who wanna have a good time, would not recomend to the oldies!

This was the best holiday I have ever had.The apartments were nice, spacious and clean.All rooms had a safty deposit box in.I was worried about going after reading some of the reviews but there is no need to worry about the apartments they had everyting you need and I did'nt hear of any robberies in the two weeks I was there.

The resory is fantastic with loads of bars and places to eat.I would advise people to go to BCM and Boomerags.Chaplins is also good.

Just a quick note about fiesta sahara apartment and Magaluf.We stayed here in July and were pleasently surprised at how nice the apartment were after reading a few reviews on here.The staff were really nice and friendly even helping us with our cases on arrival!The pool was lovely with plenty of sun loungers.

The resort centre was nice and not what we expected, we expected to find a lot of fights around the strip but to our surprise only saw one fight the two weeks we were there.
These apartments are great value for money, in a great location and nice and clean.

as i have just read the lady from blackpool had same problem as us fiesta sahara the security is real bad left our room for 1 hour all our money taken phones etc reps didnt give a dam treated us like idiots our room was entered by someone using a key the place reps all useless.  locals dont rate staying there next time stay in p nova if this has happened to you complain to thomson

I went to the fiesta Sahara with 3 of my best mates and had a wicked time! the weather was great and the nightlife was brilliant! the hotel was great, especially if your single and looking for some nice guys! the rooms are clean however theres no air conditioning and you will probably find yourself sleeping on the balcony! look out for the security guards walking around at nite, if your expecting a quiet night in theres no chance!

its just a 5 min walk from the hotel to the beach and you wont be lost for places to eat, i recommend tom browns and happy house! not only great food but its cheap, as for nights out BCM's is a must and on the strip you've got to try revolution and crystals bar!

Our time in maguluf was fantastic,the appartments were basic but very clean (but not after we had stayed in them). We met a whole range of people from liverpoolians to cokneys that were out to have a good time like us. I recommend going to see the pirates show it was a wicked night. I would defo go back there. Hello to the Reding boys! The pool was massive, but watch out for the people throwing pizza of the balconas.

I am just 3days back from Magaluf staying in the Sahara Apts, I have stayed in these apts before but it was with my family so this was a different holiday altogether, having read some of the reviews on this page i was not looking forward to staying in these apartments but I was pleasanlty suprised when i got there.  

The reception staff where great very friendly, the rooms where really clean looked like they had just been painted, the kitchen was not a great size although there were only two of us so it was fine for us.  These Apts are very very noisy from abt 3am til 7am with groups of people shouting from balcony to balcony and music so not great for families.

I have been to this resort of a number of different times and love it.  We ate in so many great places including: The Cottage, Lady Tavern, Portifino's, Viceroy of India (Palma Nova) and Magaluf's No1 Chinease Resteraunt across from the Magaluf Park.We found all these places to be great value for money and such big portions.

We went to Benny Hills a few night for cocktails then went to Mano's for some more and ofcourse to see the lovely waiters.  Then walked along to the main strip where it is buzzing, we went to Chaplin's, Revolution, BCM Cafe, and every night got picked up and dragged into a pud just dowm from Chaplin's on the same side at the corner it was great in there although the PR Guy was a bit full on with me and of course we also went to Banana's, Boomerang and many more.

Went to the beach everyday as the pool was too busy and could not get peace to lie for fear of some guys throwing you in the pool.  Went on the banana boat ?6 each and on the rings ?20 each and the pedelos ?9 for an hour.

Met a great group of guys from Edinburgh and Manchester.
Although I must say the local talent was more my thing.

Wish I was back there and booking up to go back this August to see my fav PR Man

We have just returned from one week in magaluf.  We stayed at the fiesta sahara, self catering.
We thought the accomodation was excellent, and that the choice of food in the dining room was also excellent.
Magaluf beach was clean and not too busy at this time of year. The weather for the first 3 days was pretty awful but it did become warm and sunny. 

The entertainment in the hotel was first-class and we had a ball.  Sam and Leona who provided the entertainment were wicked and brilliant with the kids.  Well Done you two!
We met up with a lovely family from Kilmarnock and actually spent most of the week with them. The hotel staff were all pleasant and friendly.

We would go back to magaluf but next time we probably will try Palmanova.
All in all, we had a great weeks break, with no major complaints at all.
I personally dont understand one of the earlier comments about the state of the apartments, as I found them to be very clean and basic, but what else do you actually need apart from a bathroom, balcony and somewhere to sleep?
We loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

booked this holiday last minute and Magaluf would not have been our first choice but the Tropico was advertised as a family complex and we were able to book half board and have two one bedroom apartments. We requested pool view, adjoining rooms and quiet rooms. In fairness all our requests were met. On arrival which was one 'o' clock in the morning we were shown a map of the complex and left to find our own way to our apartments. this may sound easy but there are twelve blocks and each has it,s own lift (the slowest lift I have ever experienced. Luckily someone popped their head over the balcony and told us where to go. 

On arrival in our apartments we found them to be clean, bright and of adequate size. There was a kettle, toaster, two hotplates and plenty of crockery and cutlery but not very good if your intention was to cook anything other than a pice of toast for breakfast. The fridge was a normal size with a small freezer compartment.

We had paid the supplement in advance for half board which is taken in the hotel Sahara opposite. This was no problem and the food was of a good quality, breakfast was full english everyday with all the other usual breakfast food on offer. Evening meal was soup, cold meat and salad selection, a fish course two meat choices and a pasta dish. there was only one vegetable choice most nights but there was always a potato choice and chips. the sweet was always one cake choice always a jelly fresh and tinned fruit and rice pudding or creme caramel.

The pool area was large enough with a lovely pool "BUT" the sun lounger problem is something else! On your first day you realise that if you are not down at the piles of sunbeds waiting for the staff to unchain them YOU WILL NOT GET A BED. If like me you believe that this should not be done forget it and you will do as the others do. We did not and found ourselves going over to the Sahara Hotel and using their pool where even after breakfast there were plenty of beds available. Then we realised why. the hotel is full of 18-30 holiday makers and as they don,t come in until everyone else is getting up they don,t reserve the beds, after two days of this when we were quite happy until after lunch when they start to surface and the loud music and the bad language starts we then joined the sunbed queue at the Tropico.

The other side of you is the Fiesta Junglar apartments and the noise from both these hotels is very bad especialy if you are unfortunate to have rooms that don,t have a pool view.
In Fairness the Tropico have security guards who are on duty all night to keep the drunken noisy youth in check. We, following our request had quiet rooms and all in all had a nice holiday.
The resort of Magaluf has been totaly taken over by hoards of drunken young people and consequently the resort is now dirty even though the cleaners are out on the streets every day but you can still find some nice bars and some good entertainment.

The staff at the hotel are very nice and do their best to keep you entertained but unless you have young children who refuse to move, go out and find better.
If you have already booked for the Tropico send the an E-Mail and request pool view rooms. If you are not in the 18-30 group and you have booked the Sahara or The Junglar it will be HELL!!!

just come back from fiesta tropico, although the pool was nice, unless you got up at 7-30 every morning you werent getting a sunbed as people were queing for them. because theres only ceiling fans we left the balcony doors open, but couldnt get any sleep cause of the loud music from the hotel behind till 6am. wished we booked the royal beach for the kids.western waterpark was good.we bought tickets from hotel and avoided the queue when we got there.beach was very clean with sunbeds always available.bars to suit everyone

We had emailed directly to the apts and asked for a pool view and thats what we got(sort of). We were in room 7108 which was block 7 room 108 but we didnt realise all blocks had the same room numbers and we tried to open the door of room 8108, anyway we eventually found it and were pleased with the room apart from the balcony which had a gigantic palm tree hanging into it and millions of ants so we couldnt really hang any washing out to dry, i know you get ants everywhere but this was really bad if we left the door open for a second the apartment would be full of them within a minute.  The ceiling fans were quite good, but i dont think they would do much in the middle of summer when the weather is really hot. You do hear people going along the corridors at nite but its the same everywhere you go, we had a  man banging on the door of our apt at 5am one morning so i got up to answer it and he was trying to push his way in saying im sorry darling i had to really shout "your in the wrong room" before he actually realised, he was so drunk but he couldnt look at me the next day at the pool lol. So apart from this the complex and accomodation were fine.

We eat at Tom Browns (on the beach) day and nite we used to go down and put our things on the beach on loungers then go and get breakfast then laze all fay in the sun and nip over and get lunch then go home and come back down at nite, it was quite good and they done a lot of kids meals, if you go say hello to Petra shes really nice, we also ate a few times at Bar Moon rite outside the apartments and it was one of the cleanest restaurant/bars i have ever been to in Spain even the toilets were immaculate, the prices were very reasonable and the steak pie was just like back home yummy.

Anyway we had a great holiday we had a real laugh watching all the headcases waiting on sunloungers in the morning especially the man in block 10 room 102 he was up at the crack of dawn to make sure he got the only parasol that was at that side of the pool but we thought he was a bit selfish as his kids were grown up and were in the pool all day but there was people there including us with babies in prams who could have had more use for it, but when we were getting picked up at 8.25 the day we departed there were 2 ladies standing with it i just wish i could have been there to see his face when he realsied someone else had beat him to it hahahaha.

Just come back from there spending 11 nights and what a great time we had ,was worried after reading reviews on site but dont be .

The hotel pool is fantastic and the nightly entertainment was great the kids loved it . Magaluf plenty of places to eat we spent nearly our whole holiday in TOM BROWNS got to go there Jokers was also very cheap.On the last but one night we found what an amazing pub GOODFELLOWS we played deal or no deal we won 116 euros lot of fun great show and karaoke to end the night only sorry we did not go there earlier would def go back to this hotel would recommend it to anyone , yes sun loungers were a bit of a nightmare but thats just people would grab about 8 for all their kids which kids was not using as they were in pool , we would just go and find 2 and take it in turns to lie.

Read previous reviews with mixed feelings.Just arrived back today and would like to confirm all the negative points about this hotelin the previous reviews.Taking advice we emailed ahead to book a room with a pool view, which we got (what a mistake).
Hotel was full of drunkin 13 -16 year olds,
parents and families fighting (physically) and police attending.Spoke to rep about incidents and we were couple no.27 that morning to complain but they couldn't eject families as they had children.

All in all the resort was very good with a lot to offer but if you haven't booked DON'T and if you have "best of luck". as this was low season god help you in high season.
Off to get some sleep as we haven't had any for 7 nights.

Well what can i say!! except! what a great holiday!
The apartment was great, lots of space, nice big balcony, the staff came in every two days to change the towels, we had the bed changed once while we were there. had all the facilities required for self catering. fantastic pool, kept very clean, staff were friendly, entertainment was quite good for the kids, kept them happy. "security" no probs, had a safe for valubles, had to pay off course, but not much. all amenities on your door step, beach was only 300 yrds away "great", as for noise, only what you would expect on holiday, people having fun, would definatly go to same place again, infact planning to next year :-)

A very lively complex,TOP TIP-email the fiesta group to request a pool view room,we did & were lucky,if not you may get a room overlooking the fiesta sahara over the road or worse- a view of a deserted square with nothing going on!
we had a good week in magaluf,the swimming pool was massive & there were plenty of sunbeds available(at the end of september).
a 2 minute walk to the lovely beach with tons of shops,bars & restaurants etc.
we paid £40 each for 7 breakfasts & 3 evening meals which you take at the fiesta sahara across the road but,if you wait till you go you can get half board all week for £45 which will be advertised on a leaflet in your room.

if you want a late checkout room,it will be best to book it in advance as we tried to get one while we were there but were told that all the rooms were fully booked even though we noticed that our 2 rooms were still empty at 6pm!
the kids clubs are very good & the fiesta reps do a good job day & night with entertainment as well.
we heard quite a bit of noise in the night with people coming back to their appartments after nights out & with new arrivals wheeling suitcases in at all times of the night but its all part of the fun i suppose!

all in all a good time was had by all,we even went on the 'slingshot'in the main strip,you cant miss it,what a ride!!
p.s a small bottle of water is 1.40 euros in the hotel or 75 cents in spar across the road(or a shop called bip round the corner from spar).

After reading the previous reviews I was expecting something akin to Beirut !! I was pleasantly surprised. The apartments are basic but clean and bright. Maid service every other day. Fans in ceiling not enough for high season but we hired two from reception. We did have a pool view and slept with the patio open most nights and we were not disturbed. The whole time we were there the apartments were totally occupied by families. 

There was plenty to do for the children, with activities for everyone throughout the day.The resort is geared more for the 18-30 crowd, but that only kicks in about 11pm. The BCM square is full of families until at least 12.The sunbed situation is no more manic than many other places we've been to, you just have to go down at nine'ish, or if you want a lie in as we did sometimes (you are on holiday don't forget) we just took lilo's to the pool and used them. Obviously you can't choose the people who are in your accommodation at the same time as you, and some people in the previous reviews were unfortunate, but for the two weeks we were there everyone was enjoying a family holiday like us.

didnt no what to expect after reading the reviews but when we got there i was quite suprised room clean and tidy, fans in bedroom and sitting area i thought was acceptable for this time of year.The cleaner came every other day changed towels and cleaned rooms.hotel situated really good 10mins walk from water parks and go-carting,right next to macdonalds burgerking and pizza hut and spanish restaurants outside hotel are lovely and really cheap; especially europe the second restaurant along from hotel,you do get harassed abit on a night to go in to pubs,other than that i really enjoyed it.

The biggest problem was the sad brits waiting to put there towels on sunbeds early in the morning even in a thunder storm,i never even tried to get one had better things to do.

The Fiesta Tropico is advertised as a family hotel, not true.

You will be subjected to extreme loud noise, people jumping in the pool, throwing sunbeds, tables and chairs in the pool, loud music, shouting, fighting and general yob behaviour.  We were lucky that we got a pool side room but there were guests there that after two weeks looked like they had just been released from hospital instead of having a holiday.These people were unfortunately put in rooms facing the sister hotel, Junga.They were subjected to screaming, blasting music people climbing over balcony's, nudity from both sxes, footballs being kicked around and into the fence outside their rooms and everything else that you would expect to get if you were on a club 18-30 holiday.  There were children of all ages being exposed to this all through the night and each time someone went to complain they were told that no one else had any problems.

The Thompson reps are only there to try and sell you tickets and are not interested in anything else, in fact you are lucky if you can get 2 reps to give you the same story.  There were three stabbings within the 2 weeks I was there, one in the hotel opposite the Fiesta Sahara, and you will be bombarded by people trying to get you into bars with the promise of free shots.  This would be ok, it's what you expect, however they also say it to kids who do not look 14 years old.  The beach is great and the best place to eat is Tom Brown's on the beach. 

I would definately recommend going to the Pirate dinner show, it was absolutely fantastic and the dolphin experience at Marine Land should not be missed.

We have just spent two weeks in Magaluf on a family holiday. In Magaluf there is something for everybody but Magaluf is mainly aimed at 16yrs + because it can get very hectic at night! I would totally recomend the strip which is full of lively bars or full on night clubs! They do a really good deal of 11 euros to get in 5 different clubs! I would recomend banana, tokyo joes and bomerang out of the 5. One word for the bcm AMAZIN! They also do a deal of 25 euros to get in and you get 5 or 6 free gifts and an all inclusive bar all night!

We also went on a chill out cruise on the catarmaran great value for money food was great and free sangria!!!
Where our appartment was we got woken up by groups of people comming home from the clubs between 4.00am and 6.00am. The Tropico has two sister hotels the Jungler and sahara, the tropico is more for the family, Jugler is where all the young groups stay and the sahara is abit of a mix! The 3 teenagers made good friends with the life guard and bar maid in the small bar! They are both really lovely people and the girls plan to go back to visit them next year!
We all had a really good holiday and would recommend it to anybody!!!

All I can say is don't go there unless you are under 25 and like noise all night from the Junglar (or Jungle) opposite and BCM nightclub just up the road which stays open until 6am.  The hotel is definitely not a 3 star more like a 2 star.  We went on an allocation on arrival holiday but did not expect Portland to put us in Magaluf as we are a family with young children and this is definitely not a family resort.

We did ask for a move but the reps did not make much of an effort to move us.  We made the best of the holiday and did have a reasonably good time. 

The police were called one night as two young lads had had a fight in the complex.  There was blood everywhere.  We found sick on the staircase one morning it took them all day to clean it up properly.  Rooms are small and not very uptodate.  There are not enough sunbeds you had to get up early to bag one we hated doing this. They were unlocked at 9 every morning.  This was supposed to be  a family hotel! definitely not. 

Food was okay but very ordinary.  Staff at the hotel were helpful enough they must be sick of all the complaints though.   All I can say is don't go there!  Room was not cleaned much only twice in the week we were there and we had to ask for extra clean towels.

Having read the site prior to our holiday I just though it fair that I add comments from our time spent away.

The hotel staff were friendly the hotel was clean and the reps were always willing to help in any way possible.

The children in our party did not join in with many of the various games etc which were organised on a daily basis they were just happy to play in the lovely pool area.  Pool was large with 2 seperate pools for toddlers/non swimmers and a baby pool which is good.  However the tiles at the bottom of the pool were being pulled up by the kiddies as they were not stuck properly and there were divers there most nights re-glueing them.  DIDNT WORK.

Poolside snack bar excellent value for money and ease.  Evening meals chinese buffet outside the hotel absolutely gorgeous McDonalds and KFC within walking distance and Tom Browns excellent food and variety.

Evening entertainment was excellent in the hotel bar both from the Reps and outside entertainment. 

A must to double lock doors there were 5 rooms broken into whilst we were away and lots of goods stolen.  Reps not prepared to warn new guests of the possibility.  Personally I would prefer to know so we were extra vijulent.

Watersports on the beach great too, its always good fun to try something new.

Good all round.  If I did like going back to the same place I would deffinately return.

Have been here since daughter was 3 we love it.  Have been to other hotels in Magalluf but for childrens entertainment this has to be the best.

Apartments are roomy and comfortable.

Not to keen on the new flooring in the pools.  Tiles kept coming off, (or children were diving down and peeling them off).  Felt very sorry for the diver who had to keep sticking them on each evening.

Eating out is easy there are many good places, best we have been to are Europa (Just outside the apartments) the chinese on the front, excellent and best of all the Titanic (down the side street towards the beach, opposite the Brittania).  Very warm and friendly Spanish family run business.

Have already booked for 2005.

After reading the reviews on the tropico I was a bit worried, but I had no need to be it was BRILL! The location is excellent for children as it is set back away from the main street of bars & clubs.

The rooms are basic but have all you need, the reception staff are very friendly & helpful. The pool is fab but unless you're up at the crack of dawn don't expect a sunbed or do what we did, if someone had not been on the sunbed for 1 hour we would remove their towel and take the bed, that only fair if they are not using it or we would take a chair from the bar. 

Don't book any trips through the Thomson reps they are cheaper through the hotel reception.  Pirates is a must if you are in Magaluf it is excellent, buy your tickets direct from the box office, it is within walking distance.
The BCM square is great for kids, loads to do.The hotel entertainment is excellent, the reps & the entertainers are brill with the kids especially Chris, Claire, Craig, lauren, the Kids especially enjoyed the kids club but make sure you put their names down the night before or they won't get a place!

There are loads of great places to eat Tom Browns, Alcatraz, Bar Moon, Happy House & the chinese resturant on the beach next to happy house is worth a visit.  Benny Hills is good of a night for the kids.

We are definatly going back next year.

We love Majorca, as its the only place we can do anything at anytime we want.
These apartments are off the main Magalluf drag which means you get away from it.
pools are good if not somewhat cold...
Reps are ok but when they realise that you dont want to buy anything from you, can appear to be indifferent towards you.

Entertainment is great for kids if not somewhat similar each night...(you can even predict what order the songs come in the kids disco).
Food....I have been to this island at least 40 times in my life and The Blue bar restuarant is without doubt the best in Magalluf if not majorca.They treat you like a VIP and the food and views are first class...This is a must for anyone to come here...you wont regret it!

We have been to Majorca, Palma Nova/Magaluf twice before and on arriving this time we were really pleased with the apartments, the pool was huge and brilliant for any age, they had kids clubs all day, for over 3's.  The apartments we very clean and spacious, we had one over looking the pool, which was a bonus.  The apartments are very near to all amenities, including the beach a bout a 5 minute walk, with a two year old.

Absoultely brilliant holiday and would recommend it to anyone, with or without children.

First time for us to go selfcatering so a bit apprehensive.Had read the reviews before hand and took them all with a pinch of salt.The holiday was good unfotunatley the weather spoilt it but you cant control the weather!!!We arrived in the afternoon so straight up stairs to unpack,luckily we had 2 rooms together.Our view wasnt brilliant but interesting!!We had the sister hotel "Jungla" next to us which mainly catered for the 18-30 club.Considering we went the first week of Euro 2004 they were quite well behaved!!

The resort is clean and close to all ammenaties.There are two shops outside ,its worth looking round both to get the bargins!!The resturant next door did a good priced breakfast with helpfull staff.There is a McDonalds and burger king, they are about the same price as we would pay here but McD's dont do milkshakes.There are plenty of shops to look around and haggle where you can,my missus managed to haggle a pair of boots down from 60 euros to 30 euros!!

The highlite or the holiday has to be the sunbed saga.Yes we are turning into Germans ,standing by chained up sunbeds to grab 1 as soon as they unlock them,this is about 8.00am.There are not many umbrellas but plenty of palm tree thingys to keep you cool.There is a kids pool which isnt very big but that is due to all the inflatables in it . 

There is a kids club for the younger kids and the "up to" 13.My kids didnt use them due to not liking planning things.We spent a day on the beach which is clean and you can hie two sunbeds with a parsol for 7 euros.Get there early as this is the standard charge all day.The vendors with drinks get annoying , we just grabbed out bottle of water evrytime they approached us.It is a good idea to take a cool bag with you for your water and a can opener !!

The only thing i will say which is a must - double lock your room.they can be opened with a credit card.Two rooms were broken into whilst we were there.They used your own suitcases to take stuff out including the safe.They looked like holiday makers going home.The staff are great and plenty to do.The boys and I especailly enjoyed the football,the pitch was just behind us.

The Pirates adventure was expensive but worth it.It was just a 10 min walk from the hotel.If you book through Thompson with the reps you get a free towel.So we booked the aqua park through them too to get another towel!!The pirates was very entertaining.As much sangria as you can drink and botttles of pop for the kids.The food was basic but very filling.We sat upstairs and had a great view.Dont bother with the upgraded seats.Not worth it.

The aqua park was good . Not bad priced . child price is 12 and under but if your 14 year old is small for their age,you'll get away with it.My eldset boys went to the go carts next to the aqua park and said it was rubbish.They went too slow according to them.I suggest you take a pack lunch with you , as for any themed park the food is a rip off and not very nice,hense the cool bag.At the hotel on Sundays and Thursdays a photographer comes round.A4 sized pic is 10 euros (7 quid) and we got keyrings which were 5 euros.We thought they were worth every penny.

The entertainment is good.Same sort of thing you get on all resorts.Bingo at 9,seats are few of which most are out side.We decided not to go back next year as we like our All inclusive too much. Oh check the ceiling fans ours wobbled and one didnt work but they did fix them quickly.and the electric rings on the cooker can be hit and miss.Some dont heat up very well.

Over all we would go back but Our 17 and 16 year olds did get a bit bored plus they eat all day and couldnt get used to not being able to help your self.If this is your first holiday abroad its ideal.

just  came back after 11 nights here hotel was very nice we was first put in a room at the back of the bars in the street in front of the hotel block 11 asked to be moved got moved to a room faceing the pool it was lovely when booking ask  for a pool view  

the staff at this hotel was fab the thomson kids reps were brill chris was really good with kids my lad loved the mini disco every night the entertiment was good the fiesta team was good with the kids  

the pool was lovely and big but when we was there the bottom of the pool was comeing up every night they was fixing it the worst thing was the sunbeds by 8 in the morning there was people waiting next to the beds the man did not unchain them until 9 people was getting 8 sunbeds at a time putting towel on them then leaveing them all day their is about 900 rooms here and about 400 sunbeds they really needs to be something done about this u must go to western water park brill  

we found at night with a five year old if u went out of the hotel there was not much at all to do  just lots of bars lot better for older kids tom brown was a good place to eat the indian on the beach was the best food all in all hotel very nice thomson reps were great all the kids loved them  magaluf is great but more for familys with older kids

Just returned from a week in the fiesta tropico magalluf.
On arrival after requesting a pool view 11 months in advance we arrived to find we were at the back of block 3 overlooking some spanish village.
We brought it to the receptions attention and were put on a waiting list for a move, this happened on day 4, but well worth the wait. A pool view really is a must in this hotel!

The hotel itself was kept really clean and tidy, no complaints about our room at all.

The entertainment is geared towards kids in general (but it is a super family hotel) and our kids loved it! Be warned get a seat early as it soon fills up and if your stuck at the back you cant see a thing. The night normally starts off with kids mini disco, followed by bingo and a quiz. Around 10pm the "show" starts which could be anything from a group, hypnotist, illusion show etc.

The bar prices in general are quite pricey, but with a pool view you can go back to your room and sit on the balcony with your own drink and watch the entertainment, which went on most nights till after 12.30.

We went down to benny hills on a few nights after the hotel entertainment had finished, they cater really well for kids but beware of the extortionist prices!

Places to eat were deffinatley the cottage and benny hills (where kids got a free game of mini golf for eating there), not a bad meal in our whole holiday from those restaurants. The Cottage in particular doing a fab sunday roast.

The beaches were clean and well kept, dont buy any bottled drinks from the guys walking up and down the beach, complete rip off and we were warned "bottled water" from them is actually tap water.

The main groan about magalluf is the time share people on every corner trying to tempt you with scratchcards, we politely said no on our first few days but found we actually had to get quite rude with them to get the message (they will plague you!!).

All in all a great holiday, kids loved the place, the pool is amazing, biggest ive seen abroad up till now.  Reps keep the kids entertained all day, and the red lion snack bar (under block 10) serves good food at very reasonable prices all day.

My/Our Holiday Opinion: 

I was quite surprised by some review on here and found that the apartments was very clean the only fault i found was ants in both the rooms we had. We had a towel change 4 time in our 2 week stay but no change of sheets!

We was very dissapointed that we did not have a pool view after booking 10 months beofor our departure date and that we had a view of the fiesta sahara across the road and bars and resterants very noisey to say the least. We complained to the reps and after moaning to them for 3 days they finaly moved me and the kids but could not move my parents. The beds in the rooms are so uncomfatble especialy the pull out bed in the lounge.The weather was great the first week but rained for 3 days non stop!

The pool was lovely and big but we did not get a sun bed in the whole of our stay there, there must be about 200 sunbeds and belive me they are waiting for them to be unlocked and 8am and putting there towels on them and by 8.30am there is no body to be seem just hundreads of towels even though there is a notice in reception saying that reserving sun beds are not permitted in this hotel....
I found the entertainment in the eveing ok but if you was not down there early enough in the eveing you would not get a seat.

The weather was so hot the first week and was in the high 30s but the second week did nothing but rain and trying to find somthing to do when its like that is not easy.

I found Magalluf itself lovely the beech was realy clean and i fond some lovely resterants and can honestly say we ate out every eveing and i dod not have a bad meal. I did find that if you want to go to magalluf for a quiet realaxing holiday its not that at all you get hassled all the time when you are walking around, there are people giving you scratch card and saying you have won a price and they pay for you to go and collect it in a taxi and when you get there its some kind of time share and you cant get away from them, there is also loads of black africans selling sun glasses and fake jewllery at night but they are selling dr*gs aswell we was asked if we wanted some charlie for free and this went on every night.
Beware of the people selling bottled water on the beach to its tap water and they unscrew the lid for you and then want 8 euro for it.

I found Magalluf very expencive as well things like meals in resterants are cheap but your drink even coke costs more than you meal.
We went to the pirate night well worth every penny and to the western water park that was great, we also did the semisub boat trip never again!
The marinland was good aswell.
I found the best places to eat was Tom browns by far there is also a resterant just next door called the moon bar that did lovely breakfast and very cheap at 2.80 eoro. we ate there every day as it was so nice and friendy!
The steak house it good as well its opopsit BCM.
All in all i had a nice time but would not go back to Magalluf 2 weeks was to long and there is only so much shopping you can do as all the shops sell the same stuff.

I would propably go back to fiesta tropico if it was some where else.

My/Our Holiday Opinion: 

This was our first holiday abroad together, and our 3 year old's first holiday.

The Hotel was really nice, very clean, tidy and well presented, It was mostly quiet at nights and no trouble.
The pool was big, but cold, and teh bar was ok, a bit pricey.
The reps do a great jobs with the kids, and the shows in the bar were fun.
Magaluf was great, hot, interesting, varied.  Because we had a 3 year old we didnt sample the night life, though BDM square was good for an evening with the family.  Tom Browns was by far the best food, some of the restuarants were awful.

Beaches were good, not too busy.  Pirates is AMAZING!!! absolute must see, likewise we liked Marineland and the Water Park, and had a fun boat trip (Neptuno Sub) which only cost 12E and our child got on free.
Ok, downside - Its very "Brits abroad" a lot of the time: gangs of drunk and obnoxious Brit tourists shouting, being arrogant and acting like they didnt know how to behave in public, to be fair some of the germans were overly loud too. We met some great people at the hotel and in the bars, but it was spoiled a bit with the obnoxious tourists.
Prices are a bit steep, and there are a lot of con merchants - stay away from the idiots with the scratchcards etc.. and dont buy anything form the beach-hustlers - 10E for a slice of melon!! and 10E for a can of Lilt.....just tell them to get lost. Other than that, no complaints.
I loved the scenery, beautiful coasts and skies, the fun trips, Tom Browns, Pirates, the weather and the variety.

Overall, we had a good time - though be wary of the flight times, its 40E extra if you need a late check out.  I would go back to Mallorca (some of the island is beautiful), maybe not Magaluf, but only because im more into sight-seeing than partying. I would recommend the hotel, as long as you are prepared for the Butlins feel, and it's great for kids.

This was are first time staying at Fiesta Tropica. Thomson and fiesta reps very good can not fault them.

Resort was very good had McDonalds,Pizza hut, KFC, burger king just 5 mins away. we arrived on the monday to find that outside was cooler than in are room, could not sleep at night as it was too hot. On the saturday went out to watch the evening entertainment got back to are room at 12 to find that we had been BURGALED. took security about half hour to come and see and all he done was looked then walked out. Had to call him back because the door was broke because it had been wedged open.Went through all are bags and draws. Stolen my daughters and sons money and a camera.we were not the only ones to be broken into as there was bout 10 others.

Then the pool was very big but had tiles coming up which i cut my feet on a few times.

Very close to the water park and pirates which were very good.

Shops were not very good as they sold all the same.

Hope Thomson get there act together and sort this because they will loose alot of trade. Will not be returing till this gets sorted.

we have stayed here b4 and this time the tropico is looking a bit shabby so many things need repairs done to them,the lifts kept getting stuck the pool was falling apart,but most of all THE ROOMS WERE GETTING BROKEN INTO sometimes with keys we all know to double lock the doors when we go out but people who had and got broken into were told that a credit card was used to open the door>>>>>>>>> come on tropico admit it you must have had a member of staff take their key home and have one cut.you cant open a door with a credit card if it is double locked.

one night i watched a member of staff go into the room opposite me to repair the fan in the bedroom he opend the door left his keys in the lock (all master keys) was in there for 15 minutes in this time i walked into the room back out and took the keys out of the door then put them back and took a photo of the keys in the lock.is this how the thief does it????????? I BET I SOUND LIKE A RIGHT MOANER,,,,,,

APART FROM ALL THIS GOING ON WE HAD A GREAT TIME we went to tom browns most of the time food is spot on magaluf didnt seem as busy as it has been b4 still we didnt have many late nights as i had to be up early for the sunbeds,not that this was a problem cos being a locksmith i picked the lock most days and had our beds out by 7am and yes we did use them till about 3.30 then we went up for siesta.still doing siesta now iam back home.

iwould go back to the tropico next year but i would take my cordless screwdriver window locks and a new lock for the front door oh yer and me lockpick.hope next year they fix all the problems.

My/Our Holiday Opinion: 

First time staying in magalluf and had a great time. We travelled with anohter family and found the Tropico an excellent choice. The kids enjoyed the kids clubs especially reps Gary & Phil.

The accomodation is fairly basic but clean. Sunbeds are chained up until 8.45-9.00 am however people were out at 8am to reserve there spot and sunbeds were all gone by 9am.

Tom browns was a great place to eat with the family - free mini golf for the children when you dine - kept the kids happy while waiting for meals. Lady Taverna is a must very reasonale and food is excellent.

Pirates was an excellent night out - although expensive we really enjoyed it, tip don not book through the reps they are 8 eurs more expensive than the door price - plenty of the places where you exchange your money also sell trips book through them.

Western water park was a great place for the family- there were smaller attrations for the little ones and also shows on to watch again when booked in the town we got a free child place not available with the reps (only thing when in there you do have to pay extra for everything they have fair rides and bouncy castles and pony rides but they are all extra)

Benny hills and manos bar very good for families

would definately go back again !!!

Heaven and Hell is the best way to describe our holiday!

The hotel is situated right at the top of the 'strip' and is the first hotel after the clubs stop so you get all the stag/hen groups etc who start or end their night.

The hotel entrance faces directly onto this, so to be blunt,if your room is on this side be prepared for no sleep, particularly on a Saturday - all you can hear until 6am is drinkers and motorbikes (as the hotel is also right on a road).  The patio doors must be made of paper as we were certain we had not closed them right as we could hear everything so clear!   Some people were not too bothered about their rooms being on this side - but I decided they must be the ones drinking until 6am so they did not notice!  We arrived on a Saturday night and got no more than 1 hours sleep and we thought we were going to have the worst holiday ever!

We did ask to be moved to a sea view - and this was heaven (after waiting a few days as they were fully booked)!  They only charged 10 euros per night for the priviledge (although they did not charge us), and this was well worth it as the rooms were also much larger with superb views.

The hotel front is DIRECTLY onto the sea, so the views are wonderful, and the noise is peaceful!!   All other main hotel facilities were also on the front/sea side - lounge bar, bar terrace (lovely to sit on at night having a drink and listen to the sea), pool.  They also had 2 outdoor jacuzzis which were great to go in during the day to cool off from sunbathing (and again you were literally over the beach and sea so the views were great).  As it was on the front you also had the choice whether to go down the roads/strip for bars, or to walk along the front on a night and miss out most of the strip and the pr's trying to get you in their clubs.

Breakfast was normal as you expect overseas - plenty to choose from beans, eggs, toast, fruit, cereal, but not english bacon/sausage.   We did not have their evening meals as they were pretty poor apart from the ice cream salad and cakes!

Tip- 'Happy House' on the sea front about 5 doors down had brilliant food - english menus with anything you could think of on it, and everything was lovely - I think we ate there every day!  Really nice staff as well.

Hotel staff were nice, but entertainment (what little there was) was REALLY BAD.

Don't bother paying for your room the day of departure - they have a gym and sauna in a locked room - and you could use the shower in there with fresh towels (mirror and hairdryer in it).

Nice hotel for a 'quieter/relaxing?' holiday but ONLY if get a sea view.

My/Our Holiday Opinion: 

I came back yesterday morning to rainy England and im gutted to be back. Went for a week and had the funnest week of our lives!
We were a bit worried before we went as it was our first holiday alone however we really had nothing to worry about.
The hotel was perfect, the rooms were extremely clean, food was fine and the weather was amazing. I would definately go back to this hotel. One side of it you walk out and are literally on the beach and the otherside you walk out and are literally at the top of the strip. View was amazing, you should try and get a room looking over the sea.

Now for the nightlife...loads of bars and clubs were amazing. All the bar staff and PR's are really friendly and so many hot guys! Definately go into Bananas and Boomerangs, 8 euros to get into 4 different clubs and a free drink. Also you should try and make an evening to go to BCM because even though its quite expensive to get in, about 20 euros its free drink all night once you are in but dont go in until about 12.30/1ish though because it will be dead before that. On he last night we went to pirates uncut, had the best night, the free flowing sangria definately helped.
Even if you do not want to go clubbing though the hotel is great for families and all different ages
You should defiantely book to go here, perfect hotel and perfect location!

My/Our Holiday Opinion: 

When we first stepped off the coach, this hotel actually looked pretty good. Lovely bright reception area.

Reception staff/bar staff were all very ignorant and could speak very little english. (apart from the 1 english lady who was very nice)

The food was the same every day for the whole holiday, chips/pasta & salad with occasionally some sort of meat thrown in!! There was no fresh juice or fruit at breakfast only tinned fruit and some awful juice from a machine which just about ripped the inside of your throat out - it was bad!!

We were stayin in magaluf with a party of 21 ladies on a hen night and we even found the hotel to be very noisy at night, we had lots of large groups of men who just seemed to stay up all night and knock on room doors and run about screaming and shouting.

The hotel was clean and the maid service was very good but i wouldnt stay here again due to the food and the staff. Definetely not a 4 star hotel.

Well for starters whoever gave this hotel 4 stars must have had one too many San Miguels !!  More like 3 star and thats being generous. The only thing 4 star about this hotel is the location which is superb, directly on the beach and on the edge of Magaluf bordering Palma Nova about a 10 to 15 minute stroll into the centre of Magaluf.
